Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Gold Legend Paukkula #1 Apartments Saariselkä on uusi edullisesti hinnoiteltu majoituskohde Saariselällä. Paukkula #1 on neljän asunnon rivitalon parvellinen päätyasunto omalla saunalla. Asunnossa on hyvin varusteltu keittiö, olohuone jossa 50" smart-TV sekä tunnelmallinen avotakka ja mukava vuodekulmasohva. Parvella on yksi 160cm parivuode sekä kaksi yhden hengen vuodetta. Parvitilan voi rajata verholla kahdeksi makuuhuoneeksi. Asunnossa on oma sisäänkäynti, kaksi ulkovarastoa sekä terassi.

Vuonna 2024 alkuvuodesta valmistunut viihtyisä, hyvin varusteltu ja moderni mökki Laanilassa noin 3 km päässä Saariselän keskustasta. Mökki sijaitsee lähellä hiihto-, pyöräily- ja ulkoilureittejä. Avarasta tupakeittiöstä on kaunis metsänäkymä. Saunaosasto on ylellinen ja moderni. Mökissä majoittuu mukavasti esimerkiksi pariskunta. Olohuoneen vuodesohva on levitettävä ja siten mökkiin voi majoittua lisäksi esimerkiksi 1-2 lasta. Mökin pihassa on ilmainen parkkialue sekä autolle lämpötolppa.

Wilderness cabin with sauna on river island

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Private log cabin by the lake of Inari

This private little cottage is located next to the lake of Inari, but also only just 15 minutes drive away from the center of Ivalo. Beautiful lake and fell scenery opens straight away from the front door and sauna. Cottage has modern equipments for cozy living, a fireplace and wood-heated sauna. During the evenings you can hear huskies howling few kilometers away and hopefully spot the auroras dancing above the lake. Entrance to bathroom through cold veranda.

Saariselän Etelärinteellä sijaitseva takallinen 8 hengen loma-asunto, 3mh, keittiö, 2 wc, sauna, takka. Alakerta 75m2 + parvi 40m2. Alhaalla sängyt 6:lle hengelle, yläkerrassa parivuode. Asunnon varusteluun kuuluvat mm astian- ja pyykinpesukone, ulkovaatteiden kuivauskaappi, liesi, uuni, täydelliset astiastot ja laadukkaat ruuanlaittovälineet. Parvelta löytyvät mm televisiot, bluetooth kaiutin. Sijainti on rauhallinen ja auton saa asunnon viereen.

If you are looking for the real Lappish experience, this is where you will find it. This is not your usual Airbnb. Here, you have to get your own water from the well or the lake, chop firewood... But you will surely have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
