Walks

This is the best local walk to do. You can walk there from the house and it takes 45mins to an hour return. It's about 4.5km but a bit hilly. The walk winds through Terrigal proper along the beach and then takes in our new walkway around the rocks which is spectacular and ends at a cafe/restaurant for refreshments.Great views from the top of the Skillion of the local area and neighbouring beaches. Whale watching popular there in season and when the surf is up you can watch surfers go in from the rocks. There is a large open grassy area with seating and barbecues and a safe sandy beach for little ones. Can get crowded during the holidays but there's quite a lot of parking.

Great bread and pastries within walking distance. We usually grab a loaf on our way home from The Skillion.

A short drive away is this brilliant deli. Kev bakes fabulous sourdough bread and they freshly slice all their meats and cheeses from around the world. The open at 8.30am and close around 3pm. They do a gourmet sandwich selection and a selection of grazing boxes created by Fi and the team. The little shopping centre they are in also houses an asian supermarket and an IGA supermarket which can be a good alternative to the nearby Erina Fair which can get very busy.
