Capture the essence of Tulum through cyanotype printing with me, a professional artist and printmaker, in this unique workshop. You’ll connect with your surroundings and create a one-of-a-kind memory of your journey. • Meet at Bacab Gallery, where I’ll explain the process, history and technique of cyanotype, a camera-free printing technique that uses light-sensitive salts to create striking blue images. • Arrange your collected objects—maybe a feather, flower, beach pebble, or leaf—on handmade cotton or pine paper from Veracruz. I’ll guide you through composition techniques to make the artwork. • Coat the paper with a special solution and expose it to sunlight (or UV light, if the sun isn’t cooperating) and watch the transformation as your design turns into a rich blue. After rinsing and drying it, reflect on your masterpiece. You’ll leave with a personal artwork, and recommendations for how to frame and preserve your new creation.

Myself or my guide friends will lead you through the centuries of history and development, as well as help you understand the amazing architectcture, art and engineering integrated into the city. After Chichen Itza, we will visit a local community-run cenote for a perfect spot to get away from the crowds and cool down in the refreshing blue waters. We will then stop in Valladolid is a city where past and present come together to delight us with the sights of colored colonial architecture and tastes of an incredibly rich gastronomy. We lunch in the courtyard of a restored colonial mansion, an experience in itself, and have time to wander the main square of the center afterwards.

After we will go to Selina hostel which is a hotel with a lot of "instaplaces" where we will be able to take pleasing photos. Finally we will walk through the beach and take stunning photos. You will be enjoying the sights as we capture the best candid moments of your day. This photo session will be informative, unforgettable and will give you some IG worthy shots. We will help you to create unique images based on your own style and personality. Even if this is your first photoshoot we will direct the shoot, help you to relax and have fun. You will receive 25 edited photos within the next 5 days after the shooting.
