This bed and breakfast is an IDEAL COUPLES RETREAT - 3 guests are welcome to stay (4 is a squeeze) but the room is best suited to comfortably accommodate a couple.
A 9-year-old visitor wrote in her diary that BelleVue encapsulates 'natural Australia, with a bit of magic'! Many guests recommend staying 2 nights or more to soak in the surrounds and luxuriate in seclusion. Nonetheless, 1-night bookings are more than welcome.
The studio room includes comfortable queen bed, single bed/day-bed to snuggle into, two rollable armchairs, small dining table, TV with CHROMECAST to stream Netflix, Stan, Spotify and other ChromeCast enabled apps from your own device. There's a DVD player with a large selection of movies, magazines and books. There is a digital alarm clock / mp3 player with iPhone charger and AUX connector cord.
Your recently renovated ensuite has toilet, a large vanity with mirror, ample cupboards, and fabulous walk-in shower - possibly the best you'll ever have! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hairdryer is provided.
There is a walk-in-robe (WIR) that can be closed off with plenty of hanging space and room to set up a porta-cot. A 3rd fold-out-bed can be set up in the main space, if required.

The rest of the family home has a separate entry but is connected to the guest room via a deadlocked interior door so that guests, and our young family, can both enjoy the privacy this large home affords. You may hear the occasional bit of "family" noise as we prepare for school, but mostly, you will feel quite separate from us.
This home is located on a 5-acre block, down a private driveway, and remains hidden from public view, and is extremely safe. The house and guest wing overlook a tranquil lake ("Belfast Lough" - where Moyne River meets the ocean).
You have access to the GARDEN and lawn area outside your room. There is PRIVATE DECK chairs and table available to guests. You're also welcome to use our communal 6-meter redgum OUTDOOR TABLE. And there's a trampoline, cubby and PLAY EQUIPMENT for the kids to use (if supervised by an adult).
You are 4km from the centre of town (5-minute drive), or you can ride bikes directly from the house to town on a beautiful, sealed bike path called the 'Rail Trail' which extends from Warrnambool to Port Fairy (via Koroit).
There are many places to picnic around Port Fairy. We've included a backpack with picnic supplies and blanket should you wish to "explore".
AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST at no extra charge:
Children's Toys and Books;
Wet weather gear.
Please ask if you have any special requests or requirements for your stay.
The house is 4km from the centre of Port Fairy, in a gorgeous "country" area on a private road. The house is on a 5 acre lifestyle property, with complete privacy and direct views of the lake and dunes. The neighbourhood is seeing significant growth and development, due to its close proximity to town, large blocks, privacy and views.
Port Fairy itself was voted the most liveable town in the WORLD in 2012 for a population under 20,000 and WOTIF's #1 Travel Destination in 2019 - this is a novel fact for Port Fairy locals, but no surprise! This town is magical for visitors and locals alike. There's a plethora of restaurants to choose from, open year-round, both fine-dining and casual (mind you, they close early!!). There's a fabulous selection of fashion outlets - ladies, you won't be disappointed! There's a supermarket, a hardware store, two primary schools, an indoor pool, gym, and all the sporting facilities desired. The community is super friendly, and there's always a buzz around town.
Port Fairy has festivals and activities throughout the year including a fortnightly market (weekly through Summer), the renowned Folk Festival in March, Port Fairy Winter Weekends, the Spring Music Festival, a Jazz Festival, the Port Fairy Adventure Film Festival in November and Moyneyana's summer festival to keep you entertained. Don't forget to check-out the surf & paddle-board lessons, boat trips, fishing, walks, cycling groups and much more. There's history aplenty, art galore, Sammy the Seal (a regular at the wharf), whales that pop by sporadically, not to mention plenty of nearby tourist attractions.
We know you'll love visiting this somewhat hidden gem that is Port Fairy, with a vibrant mix of country and seaside with a loveable sleepiness about it! Restaurants and cafes are always a buzz, the people are delightful and the views and walks are breathtaking (don't miss the walk around Griffith's Island). So come visit us, put your feet up, get out of the weather extremities and enjoy all that Port Fairy has to offer. I recommend visiting the Visitor Information Centre upon arrival to find out more...
