Our beachside cottage has been newly renovated with all modern fittings but retains it's 19th century charm. Light and airy, enjoy a glass of wine outside in the mature cottage garden or take a 2 minute stroll to the golden sandy beach. The house lies on a quiet street but only a one minute walk from a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. A ten minute walk to championship golf courses. Perfect for children, golfers, couples or families. Beds can be 2 kingsize or 4 singles.
This little cottage is a wee gem located just off the town centre in a quiet street but within 2 minutes walk of large supermarket, beautiful restaurants and bars. There is an open plan kitchen living area, one twin room downstairs and one double room upstairs with the bathroom on the ground floor. The front garden is gravelled so can also be used as a parking space but is a lovely sun trap in Summer. There is a beach play park and miniature golf 2 minute walk away and miles of golden sand and promenade. There is the famous Royal Troon golf course as well as 3 municipal courses to choose from. Troon yacht marina is a ten minute walk with Scotts award winning restaurant overlooking the splendour of the boats. A relaxed dining atmosphere with beautiful views and amazing localy sourced food. Our Troon resident seals can be spotted in the harbour daily whilst you eat the best fish and chips in Scotland from 'The Wee Hurrie' or try Macallums Oyster bar, fish doesn't get much fresher. There is Indian, Italian and Chinese cuisine amongst the varied number of restaurants. We can provide sky sports but if you fancy watching in the pub most places have sky sports and TVs for main sporting events! Please note as it is an old cottage the ceiling in the master bedroom is quite low, 5 ft 11, although the room is large! It is a 2 bedroom cottage with one communal room incorporating kitchen and living so the 5th guest will be in the sofa in the living area. The fifth guest is more suited to a child/teenager and short term stays! Please ask in advance if you require sky sports
Troon is a beautiful old seaside town with a laid back feel where you can be relaxed all year round. There are many boutiques and coffee shops with outside terraces where you read the papers or bring your dog after a walk down the beach. People are very friendly and there is so much to see and do. Half an hour from Glasgow by train and trains run every half hour. Direct services to Ayr and Edinburgh every half hour too. There is so much history, castles and parks and country estates. Prince Charles’s Dumfries house is 40 minutes away. Robert Burns country in Alloway is 20 minutes down the coast. Visit the Burns museum and his cottage where he was born.

Use of small garden. Guests with long wheelbase vehicles or horse boxes should park at the entrance to Castle Farm Close, on the left as the space nearer the house is only large enough for a car or ordinary transit van.
Stewarton is a small friendly town with excellent amenities for all. Good local restaurants/cafes and takeaways. Two supermarkets. Two chemists and doctors surgery. Several local boutique shops and sports centre. Railway station is a 2 minute walk away with regular trains to Glasgow and Kilmarnock. Various local walks and cycle routes.

    The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.
    Suitable for a single traveller or a couple.
    The cottage is within easy walking distance to all of the local attractions, 100 yards from the promenade. Shops, bars & restaurants are close by. The local area is busy during the day and quiet at night We like 'Scotts at the Yacht Haven' for alfresco lunches !

    Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a pub, a community cafe(open for lunch on Thursdays, Fridays and 1st Saturday of the month), a newsagent, post office/ shop. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.
    Compact. neat living room and kitchen downstairs. Bedroom and shower room upstairs. Good and bright daylight south facing.
    A beautiful country village with properties dating back to the 1700's.

    Built in 1906, this is a light and airy Edwardian period property, in a residential area , which is a mix of period properties and social housing (rather than a 'tourist hot-spot') It's within easy walking distance to the local amenities, dunes and beach. The apartment is on the ground floor and is one of 4 apartments in the block, all serviced by a single secured exterior door, leading to a communal corridor known as a 'close', from where the private entrance to the apartment is accessed. (Please note that 3 other flats use the same common entrance to the outside so there is potential for some noise) Ideal for up to 2 people. Dogs welcome. (Extra £10 charge per stay) Minimum 2 night stay.
    Please note that this is a residential area made up of a mixture of period properties and social housing. The street is usually quiet and there is unlimited on street parking. There are local amenities and the beach is within walking distance. If you are looking for a tourist 'hot spot', or luxurious surroundings, 'The Dunes' is not for you. If you are looking for well equipped, clean and comfortable accommodation at an affordable price, then our apartment offers great value for money and is a fabulous base for exploring this lovely stretch of coastline.     Accommodation is in a spacious Victorian house, built in 1870. It is part of a courtyard with a deli, smokehouse and award-winning seafood restaurant. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors.
    The house is self contained with own entrance and garden, while being attached to the old farmhouse which is occupied by the owner. In the courtyard there is a farm shop where you can find fresh fish (locally caught by Bernard), seafood, smoked fish and other local produce. There is also an acclaimed seafood restaurant "The Catch at Fins". Fencefoot is ideally situated for exploring the Clyde Coast and Islands.

El restaurant Fins està just al costat i el menjar és excel·lent. Només he de dir que no tenen llicència de begudes, però això no us impedeix fer-ne el propi, de totes maneres el recomanaria Fencefoot Farm. Bernard l’amfitrió va proporcionar tota la informació necessària abans de la nostra estada.   • Vam tenir una bona estona a Fencefoot Farm. Vaig anar allà amb la meva filla, la meva mare i la meva tia per a l'aniversari de la meva mare. Tom de la botiga de la granja ens va donar la benvinguda i ens va deixar entrar, mostrant-nos tot el que necessitàvem. Ben aviat ens vam trobar amb Bernard after, que era molt acollidor. L’allotjament té tot allò que necessiteu per a una estada relaxant, tot ha estat molt ben pensat. El temps no va ser genial quan vam estar allà i hi va haver escalfadors addicionals si es necessitava un munt de xemeneies i troncs per mantenir l’estufa de llenya. El pa casolà que es va deixar per a nosaltres era molt saborós i un toc encantador. Hem utilitzat la botiga de la granja ben proveïda i també vam menjar els plats del bonic restaurant de marisc a través del pati personalment pel xef! Tot el personal del restaurant i la botiga de la granja van més enllà per ajudar-vos. Vaig carregar el cotxe amb llaminadures de la botiga de la granja per portar-me a casa. La nostra estada va ser bastant curta, per la qual cosa definitivament tornem a descobrir més de la zona, ja que hi ha molt més que veure i fer.

  • vam arribar a esperar que tingués neu i definitivament ho va fer. tot i això, no hem estat descoratjats i hem gaudit d’explorar la zona local i de trobar bons llocs per menjar gossos. Bernard no hi era, però Tom ens va donar la benvinguda que ens mostrava tot. la neu va fer que el jardí tingués un aspecte bonic i vam poder veure que seria genial asseure's durant els mesos més càlids. una ubicació excel·lent per descobrir la zona i un llit molt còmode. Tots vam dormir molt bé. el cremador de registres era essencial en el fred, però només el feia més acollidor.

    Cottage is just of the main A78 between Seamill and Largs. Seamill Hydro Hotel,Waterside Hotel,Arran Ferry, Largs Marina, Millport Ferry and Kelburn Country Park are all close by as is West Kilbride Golf course.Burns Country and Culzean Castle approx an hour away.Glasgow city centre 40mins on the train. Bus stop is across the road and Train station is approx a mile away.
    Cottage has ample car parking space to front of property and a large private patio area looking on to country garden where you can see wild rabbits and birds.The patio can be accessed from patio doors in lounge and also from kitchen.
    The main house is next to cottage and the area is very quiet and private. There is a cycle path runs past the cottage which is also used by joggers, walkers and horses.

    Ardeer Steading is a 4 bed room converted farm steading situated on 107 acre working farm in Ayrshire, and only half a mile from an open sandy beach. located in a very accessible part of Scotland, its easy to access both the surrounding countryside and coastline of Ayrshire & Arran that includes some of Ayrshires top golf courses, and with Scotlands largest city, Glasgow, being 30 minutes by train from here you are never far from a culture fix and fantastic restaurants of the big city.
    Whether your stay with us is a long one, or just for an overnight stay, we will do our best to ensure that it is enjoyable and memorable. Ardeer Mains Farm is owned and run by my family who have lived and worked the farm for the last 60 years, Ardeer Mains in the early years, has went from being a predominantly a farm holding with a dairy heard, to a mixed farm today and has over the last 15 years also developed tourist accommodation by converting one of the farm buildings in to 4 different properties for renting. The surrounding fields and are still used to grow spring barley, hay and silage, and graze our own cattle, and despite being farm based, you are never too far away from good public transport and road network. We don't spend great amounts of money on advertising because we believe that a good experience is the source of our best recommendations.     Some cities and areas recently have rules covering home sharing, In most places, you must register, get a permit, or obtain a license before you list your property or accept guests, for your peace of mind Ardeer Steading is fully approved to run as a Holiday rental property. Stevenston is a small town in North Ayrshire, Scotland. It is one of the "Three Towns" along with Ardrossan and Saltcoats. The town's main link with Robert Burns is that Mayville House was the birthplace in 1768 of Miss Lesley Baillie. Robert Burns met her in 1792 and described her to a friend as "the most beautiful, most elegant woman in the world". She inspired one or two of his love poems, in which she is described as 'Bonnie Lesley'. A memorial now stands in her memory and is situated between Sinclair Street and Glencairn Street. Ayrshire is described as one of best golf destinations in the world, with nearly 50 courses to choose from including 5 of the UK's top 100 courses and 3 Open Championship venues. The area has easy access to a good road network, allowing guests and visitors based here to visit a great deal more in this part of Scotland on individual day trips. Being only 3.5 miles from the ferry port at Ardrossan, almost everyone will at one time visit the Isle of Arran. An island in the Firth of Clyde and known at " Scotland in miniture " and a great day out can be had on the Island from here. Loch Lomond can be reached in just over an hour, It’s part of The Trossachs National Park. The surrounding highlands area is home to red deer and oak woodlands. On the eastern shore, footpaths and cycle trails criss-cross Ben Lomond mountain. Across the loch sits the ancient Luss village, with its old stone cottages.

    My place is close to travel links to Glasgow by motorway, train or bus. It is just outside Kilmarnock and near Crosshouse. The train station in the village gives access to Glasgow Central Station in just half an hour. You’ll love my place because of the quietness of this semi-rural location. My place is good for solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets). There are shops and pubs in the village and the nearest supermarkets are just three miles (5km) away.
    The Weston Tavern is a great bar and it does lovely meals. There is also a coffee shop/restaurant round the side. The Stag and Thistle also does excellent meals. It has a beer garden. The Rendezvous café in the village does nice snacks and the staff are very friendly. The Canny Man public house in Lugton is about 10 miles away but well worth the trip. It has a quiet bar area with a real fire and separate dining area. There are plenty of golf courses in the area :-) I have a set of golf clubs you would be welcome to borrow if they are suitable for you.

    Light and airy upper cottage flat set in large mature gardens in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Double bedroom and twin bedroom both with large wardrobes. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dining table for 4. The bathroom has a bath and over bath shower. The living room has two comfortable leather sofas and a large screen tv with DVD player and free view channels. The flat has off street parking and seating area with barbecue available. There is a post office and co-op at the end of the road and a large Tesco's within a 5 minute drive. The town has several good carry out shops and an excellent Indian restaurant and American diner. Glasgow airport is 13 miles away and Prestwick airport 17 miles. There is a railway station 0.6 miles away with free parking and direct access to Glasgow and the Ayrshire coast. There are buses to the coast and Glasgow within a few minutes walk. The Garnock Valley Cycleway route 7 runs through Kilbirnie. Ferries to Millport and Arran are 8 miles away. Kilbirnie is an ideal location for walkers, cyclists and for touring the beautiful Ayrshire coast.

    Beautiful large room in comfortable 5 bedroom, grade 2 listed victorian family home. The property is a 2 storey house built in 1882, It is grade 2 listed and situated in tree lined conservation area 5 minutes walk to Ayr's gorgeous sandy beach and 10/15 minutes walk from Ayr's town centre for shopping, restaurants, bars, cinema etc. The bedroom is located upstairs on the first floor Adjacent to a shower room. The price includes Towels, wi fi and a breakfast of cereal, porridge, fruit, toast etc . Full cooking facilities are not available, but guests are welcome to bring in a takeaway meal or to use the microwave to heat up a "ready meal" on their return in the evening. Tea/coffee are freely available. Please let me know if you have any specific dietary requirements eg vegan and I will do my best to accommodate. 2 rooms are available and children are welcome. Each room has a double bed so could accommodate a couple for an additional cost of £5. Babies with travel cots welcome at no additional cost. If you have young children and you'd like them to be in the same room, extra mattresses can be arranged for small additional cost. There is plenty of space for parking and if you are arriving by public transport we are a 15 minute walk from train and bus connections. Prestwick Airport is an £8 taxi ride away. Ayr is a great base for exploring Ayrshire and Galloway. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible by train, road and bus. Ayr Racecourse is a short distance away and there are numerous golfing and other sporting opportunities available locally. For families with children Ayr has many attractions - farm park, beach, cinema, numerous parks and open spaces, bowling, soft play etc etc.

The Seamill Hydro Hotel, The Waterside Hotel and the Seamill House Hotel are located on the outskirts of the village and all have excellent restaurants. Portencross is a hamlet on the edge of West Kilbride which is home to the Iron Age Portencross Castle which is well worth a visit. Seamill and Portencross have stretches of sandy and rocky beaches which are a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes drive from the property. Ayrshire was the birthplace of Robert Burns so West Kilbride is an excellent base to explore Burns Country.

    Just a short distance from Wemyss Bay Ferry and train station. The house is located along a small private beach road opposite a pretty beach overlooking the Isle of Bute, very scenic. Very private and quiet. Good, safe parking. Very suitable for anyone who has missed the ferry, or wanting to catch an early ferry the next morning. Easy access to the islands, highlands and Ayrshire. Lovely walks. Makes a good base to explore Scotland from. Good road and rail links to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
    The Airbnb property is a very private, quiet, small, first floor studio flat around the rear of the property. The flat does not have sea views but does have views of the pretty, private rear garden. To reach the property you take the drive to the left side of the house where there is plenty of parking. There are two single beds in the room. Single occupancy is £38 for two people it is £56 ( please select 2x guests in the initial search box to show the correct price). The kitchen area is small but has a sink, two hobs, microwave and a fridge. The price also includes a simple, self service breakfast of coffee, tea, cereals, milk and toast which is left in the flat for guests. The bathroom has shower, toilet and basin. Towels provided. Broadband speed 76 mgs. Dogs are welcome but please be aware that two cats live in the downstairs flat and use the same front door but don’t come up to the Airbnb guest studio. Also two small dogs live elsewhere in the property. Last minute bookings accepted.
    Wemyss Bay is a lovely spot with beautiful views across the sea and many lovely local walks. Good restaurants in Inverkip ( Inverkip Hotel and Chartroom)and Largs. Good fish and chip shop in Wemyss Bay. Award winning butchers who also sells ready meals, wine etc Seaview cafe linked to the butchers serves a very good cooked breakfast. Small friendly pub in the station ‘Station Bar’

La badia de Wemyss no és espectacular, de manera que si vols fer festa, potser no sigui la millor destinació per a tu, però si t'agraden unes boniques vistes i un entorn tranquil, aquest és el vostre lloc. Vam tenir un cotxe de lloguer i vam fer un dia per anar a Oban i tornar al costat de Loch Lomond, que és un dia llarg però un bell recorregut.

We want you to feel this when you're here as if you're staying with friends, free to use all the facilities of our house. Less than a minute to prom & very close to the Cumbrae ferry. We can store bicycles in our garage (motorbikes in our locked garden out of sight) and there's ample on-street parking. We also have a another bedroom listed.
    DUE TO CORONAVIRUS WE ARE NOT BOOKING UNLESS LONG TERM AND YOU SHOULD CONTACT US RE DATES The space is a double bedroom and very comfortable and all our guests show this in their reviews. Situated directly next to the shared bathroom. Fully re-decorated In August 2018. We have many returning guests, as they like the peace and quiet of it. Every single review we have is from a genuine guest. This is a 5 star 🌟 apartment full of art and everything we hope you'll need to make you feel comfortable and at a home from home! Please be aware we charge a per person rate despite Airbnb preferring a room only rate. We do this because we do not want single travelling guests to pay more than we feel is reasonable in this room and we keep our prices low so you can stay longer! Please do ask about longer term stay discounts. The apartment is on a first floor of a block of 4 apartments called "villas” built in, or around, 1877. It really is a beautiful apartment and we get so many returning guests as a result. There is a wide 21 stair staircase to the apartment with hand rails but the apartment is on one level for guests. As hosts, we have ensure we are significantly cheaper than local B&B and Hotels in the area and are a genuine Airbnb and provide breakfast. We have many guests staying for months at a time (especially in our single room which is listed separately). Please also be aware we are not in Glasgow so please be sure you are booking correctly. We are around 50 mins by car or train from the city and although many stay here and travel to the city if you want to be in Glasgow itself do not book this room. IF DATES YOU WANT ARE BLOCKED PLEASE ASK AS WE CAN ALWAYS SEE WHAT WE CAN DO TO RELEASE THESE SO YOU GET THE STAY YOU WANT AS SOMETIMES IT CAN JUST BE US AWAY FOR AN EVENING AND HAVE NO ISSUES WITH GUESTS WHO ARE HERE MORE THAN A NIGHT BEING ALONE IF THEY ARE HAPPY WITH THAT. About the room; •The room has been completely refurbished in August 2018. •New carpet, curtains, blind and new central heating •Memory foam mattress •King size duck feather duvet and pillows •We change to anti allergen 4.5 tog duvet for guest comfort •Non feather duvet and pillows on by request •Wardrobe with drawers and shelf inside •Multi USB and plug sockets for your use •Bedside tables and lamps •Wall mounted-mirror •Robes provided •Bathroom has hand held and rain shower •Dressing table •For longer stays a chest of drawers can be installed We are willing to consider children (not babies as not equipped for them) as long as you contact us first but they would be sharing in your room as a second person. We do have a single bedroom also listed. This can be booked separately. Remember here you're paying for the room and use of other facilities in our home as you have a sitting room for guests and full use of the kitchen. So we see it as a unique offer! We don't expect our guests to stay in their rooms! Please note cleaning fee is a genuine one and is used to pay Angel Dust Cleaning Company who clean the apartment and we keep this cost low. We have tried to have a one night v longer fee but Airbnb only allows one price so I hope you understand this. It is essential to us that every guest finds the apartment in mint condition and so all cleaning fees go directly to Angel Dust Cleaning Company in Largs. We don't allow Orla (our small dog) into the room unless guests invite her in! Orla is jack russell cross who will bark if the door bell goes otherwise she is as soft as possible and a big hit with our guests. Breakfast - this is a breakfast of teas, coffee, cereals, muesli, porridge (on request) and croissants with jams and marmalade. Breakfast cereals are suitable for vegetarians. (verified by Tesco Vegetarian Food report Sep 2016) Here's a private comment we received from Shelley Lowther who has agreed to us sharing it - "“The room is beautiful with luxurious bedding and soft furnishings. There was a range of complimentary toiletries for my use which was very convenient as I had travelled by plane. Little touches like fresh flowers in the room along with magazines made my stay very relaxing. The whole apartment was exceptionally clean with the added bonus of well equipped kitchen containing a range of appliances including an ice machine. I was able to use my laptop anywhere in the apartment and receive good wi fi connection. I would highly recommend this comfortable home from home to other users.” This was a review from Frida who stayed in June 2016 but missed the 14 days to enter her review: "I am SO glad we picked your place for the last stop!     Brisbane St is lovely - quiet and friendly and just a minutes walk from the bus stop and about 5-10 minutes walk to town hosting great coffee shops, restaurants and bars (depending on your walking pace!) We are less than a minute from the sea front! About a 8 min drive to marina or lovely walk to the marina so ideally placed for those sailing or wanting to celebrate at their amazing restaurant. Largs itself is just beautiful and everyone who comes here loves it! Perfect for cycling and walking and touring around the West of Scotland and if nothing else for just getting that essential time for you! We also have Largs Food Festival annually, which is fantastic (URL HIDDEN) Also we are right next to the Viking Festival that happens annually (URL HIDDEN) Then we have Largs Live with tons of venues of live music annually (URL HIDDEN) Close to Glasgow too - about 50 minutes by train or around 1 HR by car. About 2 hours to Edinburgh and many of our guests come from or to there as a stop at a genuine seaside town.

    The cottage is a formal stable dating back to the 18th century when this now very quite hamlet was once a very busy coal mining community. Amazing hosts, quite responsive and they made us feel like at home, as if we were staying with friends.” The apartment is on a first floor of a block of 4 apartments called "villas” built in, or around, 1877. It really is a beautiful apartment and we get so many returning guests as a result. There is a wide 21 stair staircase to the apartment of with hand rails but the apartment is on one level for guests. As hosts, we have ensure we are significantly cheaper than local B&B and Hotels in the area and are a genuine Airbnb and provide breakfast. We have many guests staying for months at a time (also in our doubles room which is listed separately). Please also be aware we are not in Glasgow so please be sure you are booking correctly. We are around 50 mins by car or train from the city and although many stay here and travel to the city if you want to be in Glasgow itself do not book this room. IF DATES YOU WANT ARE BLOCKED PLEASE ASK AS WE CAN ALWAYS SEE WHAT WE CAN DO TO RELEASE THESE SO YOU GET THE STAY YOU WANT AS SOMETIMES IT CAN JUST BE US AWAY FOR AN EVENING AND HAVE NO ISSUES WITH GUESTS WHO ARE HERE MORE THAN A NIGHT BEING ALONE IF THEY ARE HAPPY WITH THAT. Children staying with families - we are open to requests to bring children who are older so please ask (we are not equipped for babies). We do have stairs up to the apartment and this would be a single room for them if you have booked the double bedroom which is separately listed. We will offer a preferential rate for families using both rooms, but the single room is not free. Remember here you're paying for the room and use of other facilities in our home and have a sitting room shared with other guests. So, we see it as a unique offer! We don't expect our guests to stay in their rooms! We want you to make yourself at home here. Breakfast - this is a breakfast of teas, coffee, cereals, muesli, porridge (on request) and croissants with jams and marmalade. Breakfast cereals and croissants are suitable vegetarian (verified by Tesco Vegetarian Food report Sep 2016) We don't allow Orla (our small dog) into the room unless guests invite her in! Orla is jack russell cross who will bark if the door bell goes otherwise she is as soft as possible and a big hit with our guests. Remember here you're paying for the room and use of other facilities in our home as you have a sitting room for guests and full use of the kitchen. So we see it as a unique offer! We don't expect our guests to stay in their rooms! Please note cleaning fee is a genuine one and is used to pay Angel Dust Cleaning Company who clean the apartment and we keep this cost low. We have tried to have a one night v longer fee but Airbnb only allows one price so I hope you understand this. It is essential to us that every guest finds the apartment in mint condition and so all cleaning fees go directly to Angel Dust Cleaning Company in Largs. Please do ask any questions and ask about longer stay discounts. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible and look forward to welcoming you to lovely Largs.
    Brisbane St is lovely - quiet and friendly and just a minutes walk from the bus stop and about 5-10 minutes walk to town hosting great coffee shops, restaurants and bars (depending on your walking pace!) Everyone in Largs says hello and always happy to chat to visitors! We are less than a minute from the sea front! About a 8 min drive to marina or lovely walk to the marina so ideally placed for those sailing or wanting to celebrate at their amazing restaurant. Largs itself is just beautiful and everyone who comes here loves it! Perfect for cycling and walking and touring around the West of Scotland and if nothing else for just getting that essential time for you! We also have Largs Food Festival annually, which is fantastic (URL HIDDEN) Also we are right next to the Viking Festival that happens annually (URL HIDDEN) Then we have Largs Live with tons of venues of live music annually (URL HIDDEN) Close to Glasgow too - 50 minutes by train or around 1 HR by car. Glasgow Airport is 40 mins away only. 2 hours to Edinburgh and many of our guests come from or to there as a stop at a genuine seaside town.

    Suited for long term stay and self-isolation. WiFi isn't connected at present, if staying a month or more I'll have it installed. I don't know how long broadband will take to be installed but in the mean time I have a BT Fon WiFi log in you can use, there appears to be a good signal throughout the flat.
    Flat has been empty a few months but I've tested all utilities and eveything is working. It used to be on Airbnb a few years ago but then it was let out on a long term contract.

No WiFi, no running water, no shower, no smoking Water in container, pots, tea, coffee, private toilet. Everything you need for a short stay with no luxuries.     Quiet place, sound of the sea and birds. Sea view. Live life with the basics Parking: You can drop off your belongings and then park 1 minute along the road above the steps to silversand beach. Bedding provided or if you prefer you can bring your own. Water is in a hand filled container, you can refill it at the tap at the front of the white shed. Thetford porta potti toilet in caravan. Please use bin for toilet roll. No shower - You can pay £3 for a shower at the campsite down the road. 5 mins walk. Strictly No smoking inside of caravan Only booked people (max 2) allowed to sleep in caravan, no guests after 8pm.
    Kildonan is a quiet village but there is kildonan campsite which has a small shop for icecream and potnoodles! You can get food and WiFi at Kildonan hotel 5 mins down the road. There is a nice circular walk from the caravan you can walk along and visit the Wee Gallery and see the ruins of Kildonan Castle then walk down a rough path onto the Sandy beach and get an icecream at the Sealshore Campsite shop - washed down with a pint at the Kildonan hotel. Keep an eye out for Otters and Seals. A seal colony can often be seen in the west of Kildonan about 40 mins walk from the caravan. You can visit Easmore waterfall and the wooden hut library in the forest and walk to Loch Garbahd. We run Flying Fever paragliding school. Look at Visit Arran website for more things to do in Arran. You need to do your shopping before you get here. There are co-ops in Brodick and Lamlash and food shop in Whiting Bay.

  • Va ploure sense parar durant la nostra estada de dos dies, però això va fer que la caravana fos encara més coqueta! La vista també és immillorable. La caravana estava "bé" amb l'etiqueta, però estava ben equipada per a una estada curta. Una experiència al bàsic tal com ja han esmentat d'altres, però t'adaptes ràpidament a la vida de les caravanes. Molt recomanable.

  • Vista preciosa sobre el mar i Ailsa Craig des de la finestra amb un barri agradable i tranquil. Amfitrió molt útil i tot i que es diu "la caravana wee" ben equipada. Va tenir una bona estada!
