Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. Continental breakfast included.
The cabin is self contained with an en suite shower room, TV and free WiFi. A substantial continental breakfast is provided within the cabin. There is a covered balcony area and garden. Our biggest asset without doubt is the unrestricted stunning views of Loch Lomond and surrounding mountains. We are in the village and within a five minute walk of all local amenities. If you are attending a wedding in the village we are located 50 metres from the church and a five minute walk to both local hotels.
Luss is an extremely picturesque village in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National (URL HIDDEN) is in a conservation area with many ancient buildings, the local church being of particular interest with hump back Viking grave stones. You can also enjoy many beautiful walks in the surrounding area.

Sunny, self-contained, secluded and private cottage with a view from the deck over the River Leven and a private gate giving you access to Loch Lomond in 10 minutes in one direction or a longer walk (or cycle) to Dumbarton the other. Available for a minimum of 2 nights. Nicely decorated, furnished and a comfy mattress and memory foam pillows. Easy to get to with or without a car. Quiet and private setting with off-street parking within the town of Balloch. There is a supermarket 5 minutes' walk away open 7am to 10pm 7 days/week. It is a 10 minute walk to Lomond Shores, a quality shopping centre, Sealife Centre, and a tourist office. There are plenty of good walks through an 80 hectare Country Park just 5 minutes' walk away or up the west side of Loch Lomond towards Luss. The more adventurous traveler can access the stunning Trossachs National Park for ample walking / hiking / cycling / sailing / canoeing opportunities. Set in the wooded grounds of our lovingly restored 1902 house offering privacy, yet only a few minutes' walk from Balloch train station and local shops, pubs, and restaurants. Bright and contemporary, the Cottage is open-plan, divided into sitting area, kitchen, and bedroom with a separate bathroom. French doors open onto a deck overlooking the river and garden to sit back and relax in nature. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self-catering needs with electric cooker with double oven and 4-ring halogen hob, large fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, and all glassware, cookware, crockery, and cutlery. For more adventurous chefs and bakers we can provide other items. Fresh hotel quality Egyptian cotton bedding and fluffy towels will be provided. The cottage has electric radiators and is very cosy. The bed is a 5 foot UK double. The mattress is medium firm. There is a WiFi transmitter in the cottage providing a fast and reliable connection. There is an LCD Free-View TV/DVD player and a selection of DVDs. The TV has an A/V inputs so you can use it to watch your movies from your own device. Fisherwood Cottage sleeps 2 adults. It is not suitable for children or pets. Tea, fresh milk, biscuits, a guest guide and local tourist attractions leaflets will be provided upon your arrival. In the summer there is plenty of wild garlic growing by the door - help yourself and use the leaves in cooking or salads. You'll see from the photographs that there is an area to sit and have a BBQ. You can either use an instant BBQ or we can lend you a small grill for use with charcoal. There is a wide choice of cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs within walking distance if you do not feel like cooking. The Cottage is self contained with a full kitchen and bathroom offering you complete privacy. We are available to help you organize your day outs and with anything else you might need. There are lots of walks around the loch from here, or a 4km walk along the riverside to Dumbarton Castle and Maritime Museum. Balloch has seven pubs and numerous restaurants, all within 10 minutes' walk. There is often live (folk) music in the Doghouse pub, see below. MOST IMPORTANT: When you book you'll get the address and directions. You can use SatNav/GPS to get to Balloch but then PLEASE FOLLOW OUR DIRECTIONS. GPS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE WRONG PLACE! There is no house number and we are NOT in Fisherwood Road. FINDING LOCAL MUSIC & EVENTS (Airbnb won't allow web links so we have shown the words you need to type into a search engine using "".) There are two pubs in Balloch that offer live music, you can check on their sites: "stonegate inns" then put "balloch" into 'town'. Further afield (you need a car) is 'Pub of the Year 1705' - The "Drovers Inn at Inverarnan" at the north end of the loch or, on the east side of the loch, "The Oak Tree at Balmaha". There are two main events listing magazines for Glasgow: "the list glasgow" "the skinny" which tends to list more informal free events FINDING INFORMATION ABOUT THE LOCH visitscotland full stop com lochlomond-trossachs full stop org lovelochlomond full stop com Most of the castles in Scotland belong to the Crown: "historic scotland". Historic houses, sites, and gardens around Scotland are managed by the National Trust Scotland: "national trust scotland". Both organizations offer 3-day passes - individual entry can be expensive. Check their sites. The Cottage is only a few minutes' walk from Balloch station with a half-hourly service to Glasgow and beyond, 7 days a week. (Change at Dumbarton for the Oban / Fort William Harry Potter line.) There is a taxi stance by the station. Balloch is on the route for the Glasgow to Fort William Citylink bus. There are local bus links to Stirling, Balmaha (for Ben Lomond).
Local pubs and restaurants are just a 5 minutes' walk away. We provide leaflets and a guest guide with maps and suggestions of what to see locally and further afield. The Coop supermarket is a 5 minutes' walk away open 07:00 to 22:00, 7 days/week.

  • Jo i la meva parella vam passar una estona meravellosa! Quina zona tan bonica per haver estat allà. Ens va rebre una cordial acollida a l'estació de tren, que ens va portar a la cabina, molt amable. Molt a prop de l'estació de tren, de les botigues ia poca distància a peu del parc nacional. Vam poder jugar a jocs acollidors i veure la televisió. Definitivament, busca tornar a quedar-se a l'estiu :)

    Built in 1888, Cats Castle sits in two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. The property has wonderful views down the Firth of Clyde. Cats Castle is close to Glasgow, Helensburgh, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The castle comprises three reception rooms, all with working fireplaces, a family kitchen, pantry, and five bedrooms, including the turret bedroom on the top floor.     Cats Castle sits in grounds of about two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. It is close to the conservation village of Cardross and about 6 miles from Helensburgh, one of western Scotland’s most desirable towns. Cardross is a quiet village with a respected primary school, tennis club, bowling club and one of the finest golf courses in west central Scotland. There is also a village store, post office and country pub. Helensburgh is a larger town offering more extensive services. The birthplace of John Logie Baird, the inventor of television, the town now offers an excellent range of local and specialist shops and supermarkets including Waitrose. On the Firth of Clyde, nearby Rhu Marina (8 miles) is one of Scotland’s most popular marinas with excellent facilities and easy access to some of the worlds most testing sailing waters. Loch Lomond is within 7 miles and offers spectacular scenery, pleasant walks, water sports and Loch Lomond Golf Club.     Tigh na Craig (house on the rocks in Gaelic) is a colourful village home overlooking the sea. The house is owned by an artist, and so there is original artwork everywhere. There is vintage furniture everywhere. Enjoy vintage vinyl collection, dvd and cd collection, Netflix and smart tv. Free wifi access. We are 10 minutes from a train station on the "Harry Potter" railwayline to Mallaig. You can get to Glasgow airport and the city of Glasgow on our little passenger ferry and rail connection.
    I am an artist and live and work here but my accommodation is separate from the part occupied by guests. I offer guests , a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. You will have your own front door access, and access also to the garden and verandah. The house is centrally heated and there is a wood burning stove in the living room. I provide one basket of logs. Extra bags of logs available at £7.50 each. There is a smart tv there together with DVD, CD player and a record deck with lots of vintage vinyl. I have a Netflix account for your use. I provide tea, coffee. The decor is quirky and contemporary with vintage furniture mixed with the up-to-date.
    Our village - Kilcreggan faces south over the Clyde estuary. It is about an hour and a quarter's drive from Glasgow. The Gourock/Kilcreggan ferry runs Monday to Saturday until 6pm in the evening. Timetable online. It is a passenger ferry and the crossing is 10 minutes in duration.

    The Holiday Home is spacious and well presented. It is nestled between the farm house and the barn and has good views of the loch and mountains from the living area. The accommodation comprises a double bedroom with an en-suite WC, a second Bedroom with 2 single beds a living area which converts into a double bed. Shower room with WC. Kitchen/breakfast area with dinning table and seating, Cooker, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Slow Cooker, Cooking Utensils, Pots, Pans, Crockery and Cutlery. Also provided are a Hairdryer, iPod Doc (Classic), games, DVD player. The Holiday home sleeps 4 comfortably but can accommodate 6. (additional charge after 4).     Carrick Castle, on Loch Goil, is a hamlet of Lochgoilhead. Carrick Castle, lochgoilhead is located with the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It is situated in the Cowal Peninsula and access to the village is either via the A83 with a turning off the ‘Rest and be Thankful’, or the A815 from Dunoon. Carrick Castle village is named after Carrick Castle. The castle is not open to the public but it is worth getting close to it to appreciate its size and history. The Castle is a 15th-century tower house on the west shore of Loch Goil, Argyll, Scotland. It is located between Cuilmuich and Carrick, 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Lochgoilhead. Please look on youtube for the video titled "Carrick Castle, Loch Goil, Scotland" for an aerial view of Carrick Castle & Carrick Farm. There are lots of specular walks. Walk Ride or cycle! Walking the newly lain walks through Carrick Estate provides breath-taking views of Loch Goil and the surrounding countryside. These walks are yet to get into any guidebooks, so please share your experiences. It is also possible to walk to Ardentinny in about 4 hours (12.9 km / 8 miles one way). Ardnahein (15 minutes from Carrick Farm) joins the forestry road to Ardentinny. The round trip to the forestry road from the Carrick Farm takes 1 3/4 hours. There is also another walk just outside Carrick Castle on the road to Lochgoilhead about 2 1/4 miles away. This Forestry Commission walk has it's own website at Cormonachan Woodlands. Both boat fishing and beach casting are also very popular activities in Carrick Castle Fishing is FREE. Boats can be hired nearby. Kayaking, sailing and other water sports are also popular. In Lochgoilhead Village, 5 miles away has a friendly Post Office +Shop. There is a church, a village hall and a doctor’s surgery. Bowling, Tennis & Multi Courts are open to visitors (honesty box). There are 2 public houses. The Shore House Inn and The Goil Inn both serve meals as well as drinks. Visit the Shore House for a restaurant experience and take-out pizza (Friday night is Music Night in the bar). The Goil Inn for more traditional pup grub. Local businesses offer bike hire and boat hire. Argyll Voyageur Canoes offer tours. The near by Drimsynie Estate Leisure Centre has 25 meter pool sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi . A 9-hole golf course split into two parks accessed via a footbridge over the River Goil. Crazy Golf & Outdoor playground. Indoor bowls 3-rinks of indoor carpet bowls. Drimsynie Estate also has a small Costcutter supermarket (Off-license incuded). There are a number of books about local history available, including ‘Loch Goil – A slice out of paradise’ (the name is a quote from the famous mountaineer WH Murray), ‘Loch Goil – looking back’ by Iain Smart and Rod/Tricia Philips, and ‘The Lochgoil and Lochlong Steamboat Company’ by Iain Smart. These are available for purchase in the Post Office. --------------- Boat Hire - Loch Goil Cruisers | Ph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) The Boat Yard is on the road between Carrick Castle and Lochgoilhead. They operate a fleet of modern boats with an internal diesel engine, wheel steering for easy handling, half cover for shelter and seating for up to ten people. We recommend a maximum number of eight for comfort. Their boats are perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery, diverse wildlife, picnicking and fishing. There are ducks, gannets, cormorants, oystercatchers, herons and porpoises in the loch and deer on the hills. Don't forget to ask the Instructor where you can find the seals. Half or full day hire. The boats are popular so it is recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Boat Hire - D.M. Auto Marine - Ph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Boat hire from Lochgoilhead village jetty, available April to the end of October. Choice of 16' or 19' foot boats with outboards taking 4 to 6 people. There is a tackle shop with a limited range of bait and equipment. Half or full day hires. A popular choice for fishermen. Fishing Fishing on the loch or from the shore is FREE. Loch Goil is a tidal sea loch. Chance of catching mackerel, pollock, sea trout or even a salmon. Permits are available at Lochgoilhead Post Office for fishing the River Goil. Best only when there has been some rain. Daily permit £15. For the hardy hill walker there are two hill lochans to the east of Loch Goil. Quite a hike to get to them but they are in a wonderful setting. Cycling around the head of the loch is a pleasure. Lots of places to stop by the loch side as well as some ideal picnic spots. Although you are on single-track roads traffic is light so you often see families out on their bikes. Matt offers a range of bikes for the whole family including: Mountain bikes, BMX, Hybrid, All sizes and Accessories. Helmets provided. You can hire for a half day, full day, weekend or full week. Bowling, Tennis & Multi Court | Lochgoilhead Village Hall. In Lochgoilhead Village there is a multi-court open to visitors. The court has goals for a kick-around game of football as well as markings and a net for tennis. You may have to erect the net depending on when it was last used. Bring your own racquets and balls. You can pre-book the tennis court in the diary in the office next to the court. By the multi-court is the outdoor bowling green. Open April to September. Bowls and shoes are at the entrance to the bowling club. In both cases payment is made into the honesty boxes provided. The Lochgoilhead Centre The Lochgoilhead Centre introduces youngsters and adults to outdoor adventures. Making full use of the hills and rivers above the village, the space within the centre and the loch on its doorstep, the staff welcomes guests staying in the area that would like to join in their activities. There is no set schedule as what is on offer is subject to availability depending on what groups are staying at the time. Contact the reception in advance, or call when you are in the area and see what is planned. This is brilliant fun - and its a tour that the children will love. There are a number of itineraries. Best to talk to him to explore the options. Argyll Voyageur Canoes operate all year, weather permitting. You do not need to be a group to join one of the trips. If there are spare seats he is happy to let you know when you can join a tour, or he will schedule a trip around you. Heu de portar tot el menjar i beguda i em refereixo a tot, ja que no hi ha botigues locals per fer una botiga de 4/5/6 nits d'estada. No podem esperar a tornar enrere.

The living, dining kitchen has been designed to allow you to cook, dine and relax in one communal space and has access to Free Wifi, a 43 inch smart tv where guests can use BBC iPlayer and other internet enabled services a sofa bed with king size mattress topper for additional comfort and an extendable dining table can sit up to four people. The kitchen includes a fridge with icebox, oven, ceramic hob, kettle, toaster and microwave oven. The flat also has a washer dryer available to use, stored in the utility cupboard for ease of use. The shower room contains a large walk in shower, with access to shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The flat is situated within the heart of Helensburgh. It sits above a beautiful flower shop and lies along from the well loved Ginger Bread man who has recently moved into the block.     The house is a bright and airy 10 year old house on two levels. The upper level has balconies, the common dining and reading areas looking out on to the sea towards Dunoon and Loch Long. It is 20 minutes drive to the heart of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond.
    Our place is located between the Arrochar mountains and the sea. There are plenty of outdoor opportunities such as sailing, fishing, outdoor walks and bicycle routes around us. We also have spectacular sunsets. It is a quiet place. The nearest town is Helensburgh, which is 30 minutes away with a train station to and from Glasgow and Edinburgh, lovely restaurants, Mackintosh's Hill House and beach front walks. There is a 20 minute regular ferry from Kilcreggan to Gourock, which also has a train station into Glasgow in 10 minutes. The Kilcreggan Book Festival happens every two years in November. Groceries, pharmacies, cafes and vintage shops are dotted around Kilcreggan and the neighbouring 8 villages on this peninsula.
    Our house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac road on the hillside of Kilcreggan. Behind us are hills and we face the sea in front. The sea with its pebbly beaches is a 5 minute downhill walk. Kilcreggan is a small quiet village with amenities such as a Bank of Scotland branch, pharmacy, vintage shops, health centre, a ferry across the Clyde to Gourock, a pub and cafes. There is also a village hall and the Kilcreggan Book Festival every two years. Kilcreggan and its partner village Cove have stunning sea walks and views over to the Isle of Bute and Arran.

    Delightful one bedroom garden cottage ideally placed for exploring Loch Lomond and the West coast of Scotland while close enough to Glasgow to allow easy access to the city by road or rail.
    Attached single storey cottage with double bedroom, shower room, fitted kitchen diner and conservatory set in a private walled garden. There is no private parking space but there is ample, free on street parking.
    The cottage is in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a short, flat, walking distance to the small town centre and two minutes to the sea front which is lined with shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. There are two train stations, Helensburgh Central to travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh and Helensburgh Upper for the West Highland Line to travel north. You can also travel to Glasgow on this line but there are fewer trains. There is a good tourist information office in the town, a small cinema and the Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed 'Hill House'. There are two supermarkets within walking distance and a larger one on the outskirts of the town. There are also two petrol stations a short drive from the cottage. Helensburgh has two sailing clubs. The area is great for walking and cycling. There is a cycle path to Loch Lomond and beyond and good local walking trails. The John Muir Way starts in Helensburgh. If you bring bikes and are interested in cycling then I can put you in touch with local cyclists who can give you guidance about some of the best local routes. Bikes can be hired from Magic Cycles based in Bowling but you should book in advance in the summer. Check out their website.

    Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and a tea/coffee/snack area in the hall. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is an enclosed kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.
    Bedroom 1 has a double bed, chest of drawers and dressing table. Views from the window are stunning. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, two comfy chairs, a coffee table and a wall mounted TV. The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower attachment and, what we think, is possibly the best view from a bathroom in the world! The hallway has a coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge and snacks. There is wifi, internet (apple) TV, central heating with a dedicated thermostat for your apartment. All towels and bedding, crockery and cutlery are provided along with access to a washer and drier. A travel-cot and bedding is available on request. The Airbnb apartment is accessed up a shared staircase (41 stairs) – our family apartment (not Airbnb) is on the floor below. There is an area in the entrance hall for coats, boots and shoes. There is also space for buggies or 2 bikes. The gardens are beautiful and are on ongoing project with many plants of interest. If it is the right season you will be given fruit/veg from the garden and greenhouse. Please be aware there are 41 steps up to the apartment so it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.
    Shops - Cove Store is about 2 mins drive away. It has beautiful local produce and all general supplies. A small supermarket (Co-Op) is 10 mins drive away in Rosneath and should provide for most needs. Other local amenities include a pharmacy, butchers and bank in Kilcreggan. There are two local cafes and a fine dining hotel all within 10 minutes drive.

    Spacious and well equipped, this a beautiful home to enjoy spending your holiday in. The house sleeps 8, there are 2 double beds and 2 zip and link kings that split into 2’6 twin beds which are perfect for children but might be a little narrow for some adults. In each room is a chest of drawers, a chair, a mirror, towel rail, a wardrobe and a hairdryer. There’s a dedicated study area upstairs with an air printer, desk and chair. There’s a combi boiler and good heating system. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The island seats 2 and there’s a 7 burner, 4 oven gas stove. The separate boot room also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The shower room upstairs has a large cubicle with rain head shower and the bathroom has a fabulous bath. It’s enormous, takes 30 minutes to fill and I heartily recommend lighting the candles and sinking into steaming, scented water after a long walk on the surrounding hills and remaining there till you resemble a prune or your glass of wine is empty whichever comes first.
    Garelochhead is a busy little village with a pub, two local shops, a post office, 2 cafes, a couple of takeaway outlets and a church all within walking distance of the house. Turning right out of the drive will take you to the village of Kilcreggan and a foot ferry to Gourock 15 minutes away by car. Helensburgh is our local town and it’s great. Full of independent shops, award winning restaurants and history. Close to numerous golf courses, the Arrochar Alps are only 20 minutes’ drive away as is Loch Lomond and the village of Luss. Glasgow Airport is just 45 minutes’ drive away. A bus runs from outside the house to the local town of Helensburgh although there’s 2 hours free parking in the centre of town if needed.

    With features such as a real log burner, 49" smart TV, fibre broadband and comfort throughout you will experience a home from home stay to include a Kingsize bed with memory foam mattress, a very large and extremely comfy L-shaped sofa (perfect for a third person to sleep on), fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, high ceilings, many original features and character in every corner!

    Fernbank is a beautiful old house and is surrounded by stunning scenery as we sit right by the GareLoch. This room is a large double bedroom with fantastic views onto the Loch, with ensuite bathroom. The price includes a European-style-help-yourself breakfast. Please note that if you book from 21st December to 6th January we will celebrate Christmas and Hogmanay (New Year) with you - Christmas tree, roaring fire, Christmas dinner/lunch.
    The house boasts; a large sitting room with comfy chairs and a big TV, dining room, study, utility room, downstairs toilets, sun room and a scullery for drying wet clothes from hiking/climbing. The GareLoch is across the road at the bottom of the front garden and therefore seconds away to walk. It's a little rocky but is spectacular and if you are lucky you may see a submarine!
    The area is well known for HMNB Clyde, home to the UK's RN submarine fleet, and regardless of politics, they are quite impressive seen close to. Helensburgh is a lovely seaside town boasting many restaurants and cafes, great ice cream, a long pier, swimming pool and a cinema with 2 screens housed in an old church. Loch Lomond is 15 minutes away, Dumbarton Castle 25 minutes away and many other Lochs within an hours travel. The Arrochar Alps are also about 35 minutes from Fernbank and boast great walks and climbing.

    Our cottage is a converted bungalow in the scenic village of Garelochhead. The Original structure was built in the 1930s but has been modernised with central heating and an attic conversion. The guest bedroom is on the ground floor and is furnished with a very comfortable king sized bed. The adjacent bathroom has a bath/shower, toilet and hand basin for guest use. Guests are able to relax in chairs in the large sunny garden if they wish.
    Our cottage is in a quiet part of the north end of the village. There is off road parking available for guest vehicles. The bedroom is furnished with a very comfortable kingsize bed, everyone who stays always comments how good their nights sleep was! There is a 32” wall mounted TV fitted with an Amazon fire stick, guests can use this to watch streaming services such as Netflix or iPlayer. There are bedside device charging facilities for USB devices so no adaptors are required. Guests also have access to part of the fitted wardrobe and hangers. There are 2 robes available for guest use if required. The bathroom has a bath/shower with hot water available 24hrs a day.
    Garelochhead is situated on the doorstep of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and on the Three Lochs Way. The peaceful village has many nearby walks and several amenities such as a pub that serves food until 7pm, 3 stores, 2 takeaways a deli and a cafe. There are good rail and bus links in the village to take you either South to Glasgow north to Fort William or into the nearby town of Helensburgh. The village lies halfway along the Three Lochs way. A walking route that is a 55 km (34 mi) long-distance path in Argyll and Bute. It links Balloch and Inveruglas and crosses the Highland Boundary Fault, which divides the Scottish Highlands from the Lowlands. It is named for the three major lochs linked by the route: Loch Lomond, the Gare Loch and Loch Long.

We also have spectacular sunsets. It is a quiet place. The nearest town is Helensburgh, which is 30 minutes away with a train station to and from Glasgow and Edinburgh, lovely restaurants, Mackintosh's Hill House and beach front walks. There is a 20 minute regular ferry from Kilcreggan to Gourock, which also has a train station into Glasgow in 10 minutes. The Kilcreggan Book Festival happens every two years in November. Groceries, pharmacies, cafes and vintage shops are dotted around Kilcreggan and the neighbouring 8 villages on this peninsula.
    Our house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac road on the hillside of Kilcreggan. Behind us are hills and we face the sea in front. The sea with its pebbly beaches is a 5 minute downhill walk. Kilcreggan is a small quiet village with amenities such as a Bank of Scotland branch, pharmacy, vintage shops, health centre, a ferry across the Clyde to Gourock, a pub and cafes. There is also a village hall and the Kilcreggan Book Festival every two years. Kilcreggan and its partner village Cove have stunning sea walks and views over to the Isle of Bute and Arran.

    The 2 bedroom apartment is in a smart new building, (the upper right hand flat in the photo) newly built by the owners, Gareth and Andrea. It is a short walk from the restaurants, pubs and wine bars of this attractive Victorian town. Despite being central the building is on a quiet street and the apartment has 2 off street parking spaces. The apartment is on the first floor, a private entrance leads up a wide staircase to a bright south-facing living space containing a fully equipped kitchen.
    There are 2 bedrooms, one with a shower room en-suite and one full bathroom off the hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped, it contains a washer drier and a dish washing machine.
    Helensburgh is known for its Victorian architecture. Amongst the fine merchants houses is the beautiful Hill House by Charles Rennie Macintosh. Within 1 hour's drive of the town there is beautiful highland scenery; the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is a few miles to the east. Glasgow city centre is easily accessible with its fine culture, restaurants and shopping.

    Victoria Crescent is a 1 bedroom flat on the 1st floor of a tenement building in the award winning village of Kirn. It’s got everything you’ll need for your stay including washing machine, dishwasher and a small office space, right down to USB plugs in the bedroom to charge phones and tablets! There is a post office a general store and a coffee shop in the village and the passenger ferry to a Gourock is only 1 mile away. The flat has a fold out bed that would be suitable for 2 children.
    This apartment has stunning views of the sea and is situated in a quiet location. Perfect for a cold beer and glass of chilled wine watching the sunset and boats go by. You ll even see the famous Waverley paddle steamer pass heading down from or up to Glasgow. .
    We are close to both ferries that serve Dunoon. 1 mile from the passenger ferry and less than a mile from the car ferry. In Kirn itself there several shops ranging from cafes, post office, general store and off licence, bakers, florist, wool and crafts shop, and dentist . The town of Dunoon with many other shops and services is a short 5 minute drive and about a 15 minute walk along the promenade which is a lovely stroll on a sunny day.

The property is attached to our relatives home and there is communal access with your own internal door to property. Complimentary arrival breakfast includes tea, coffee, milk, porridge, eggs, bread, jam, butter and honey. There is wifi available and TV downstairs and upstairs.
    The flat is over two levels and has lovely views. It is a quiet location, however it doesn't take long to travel to Loch Lomond National Park (15 minutes by car) and a regular train link to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands.
    Rhu is a lovely peaceful village with plenty to explore nearby, walking, biking and hill walking. This is the perfect place to spend some time if you are looking for some peace and quiet and time to unwind. Close to Loch Lomond and Helensburgh and easy access to road and rail links. A nearby pub, hotel and café all within walking distance. Nearby Helensburgh has a wide choice of restaurants and cafes. Loch Lomond National Park is on our doorstep and the Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed Hill House is also nearby.

    Luss is a popular Scottish village with pretty stone cottages and pier on Loch Lomond. There are numerous loch side, riverside and woodland walks including the Heritage Trail, Quarry Walks & Faerie Trail. Popular for hillwalking including the local Ben Dubh plus Conic Hill and Ben Lomond on the eastern side of the loch.

  • El Wee Cottage està perfectament situat amb unes vistes impressionants. es troba en una carretera principal i hi ha algun soroll de la carretera que pot molestar a algunes persones. Les instal·lacions eren acollidores, acollidores i decorades amb gust, un llit confortable amb una sensació moderna i una dutxa d'aigua calenta. El bo afegit és l’esmorzar, tot i que hi ha botigues a nivell local. El recomano, i es reservarà de nou.

The newly built apartment build has modern open plan living and dining. The area is spacious and bright with a full open modern kitchen, the dining area seats four, with comfortable sofas in the living area. 2 bedrooms , master with ensuite .
    There are two spacious bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and contemporary furnishings. The double room is bright and chic with crisp linen, an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds and natural light. There is a separate family bathroom. The single sofa bed for a child is stored in the Master bedroom and can be taken into the living room if desired. Maximum capacity is 6 people plus 2 infants only.( if all adults then 2 will have to sleep on the foam floor mattresses ) The town centre is only a stroll away, offering a selection of craft shops, galleries, pubs and cafes. On sunny days take a walk along the esplanade or take a picnic while exploring Argyll Forest Park and the famous Troussachs National Park. We do accept 2 small very well behaved and house trained dogs
    The apartment is in a quiet location despite being close to The town. Everything is close by . You ll even see the Waverley paddle steamer pass by on some days

A stone's throw away from the train station and Helensburgh’s Colquhoun Square, a short stroll to the beach and mere minutes away from Helensburgh’s fantastic selection of restaurants, cafes and independent shops. Am Meadhan is less than 15 minutes away from Loch Lomond. Very handy for HMNB Clyde too! Steam cleaning performed.
    A fantastic little place right in the centre of Helensburgh. Everything is new and fresh in the apartment. Equipped with a nespresso machine for coffee lovers, super-fast fiber connection, a WiFi/bluetooth speaker, a smart TV and Netflix. It has low-allergen Karndean flooring throughout and a cosy small double bed in the bedroom.

    Knockderry Castle is is considered one of the finest domestic interiors of its style in Scotland. The early house was designed by Alexander "Greek" Thomson with further additions by John Honeyman and William Leiper for John S Templeton, the carpet manufacturer from Glasgow. Leiper had also designed Templeton's carpet factory in Glasgow Green. Andrew Carnegie penned his offer of funding for branch libraries on 15 May 1901 in Knockderry Castle.
    The castle is in set 10 acres of wild parkland, where the intrepid explorer can find many hidden features of the original Victorian garden .     Local amenities include a store and post office in Cove village (2 min drive), with Kilcreggan featuring a bar, cafe, pharmacy and general store (6 min drive). Day trips to Inveraray, Fort William and Oban are popular, or choose simply to relax enjoying beautiful views in the locality
  • No podia creure que poguéssim quedar-nos en un castell en la nostra lluna de mel escocesa. El castell de Georgio és perfectament màgic i les vistes des de l'apartament són impressionants. Ens vam sentir benvinguts des del moment que vam conèixer a Georgio, i es va assegurar que ens sentíem còmodes durant la nostra estada. Des de flors fresques fins al balcó privat de pedra, ens va encantar la nostra estada en aquesta propietat tranquil·la. Hem gaudit cada segon i només vam desitjar que haguéssim reservat més nits.
