This fully air conditioned accommodation is in a perfect location, 4km from Brisbane CBD, great for inner city living without the hustle and bustle. Suited to singles, couples or small families. Walking distance to local shops and cafes. A short walk to the bus stop for easy access to the City and surrounds.
The garden is a dominant feature of the space. Both the deck area and the tea house provide views of the garden which is relaxing and private. Guests have their own private access to the living area which is fully air conditioned. Enjoy a cool beverage on the spacious deck after a day of sightseeing, meetings/work.
The neighbourhood is close to parks. The green space at the back of the house leads to a small park. Then crossing the road at the end of the street is a larger park, playground and coffee shops, just a 50 metre walk. The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy. A short drive will take you to the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens then drive to the top of Mt Cootha for magnificent views of Brisbane and enjoy a drink/lunch/dinner at the Mt Cootha Lookout restaurant.

This area is perfect for just an overnight or short stay for guests passing through Brisbane or on their way home by air. With normal traffic conditions it's about 25 minutes by taxi/Uber to the airport. Just note that if you are walking from the station or bus stop, there’s a very steep hill to walk up, not good on a hot day!It’s difficult with a big bag because the footpath also runs out. Just let me know if you are arriving this way and I may be able to pick you up.
The space is small, but very light filled and has a very private porch directly outside with views of the garden. We do not supply breakfast as such, but there’s a Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, small fridge and kettle. There is also milk, tea , coffee pods and banana bread or a lovely cafe an easy walk away called “Brisbean”. The garden itself is accessible and pleasant to take a walk around with a pond, chicken house and possibly two little friendly, curious Pomeranians to keep you company ! We also welcome your dog if he/she is small and well behaved. They are allowed inside the room as small dogs are usually used to being inside and there is a grass area just outside for them to do their business. We would appreciate it if you picked up the doo doos because others including ourselves also use that area ! The area is fenced so there is no problem with escapees. We keep our dogs separate if you do bring yours, it is just quieter and safer for all .
Our neighbourhood is quiet, leafy, family and dog friendly, perfect for taking a walk around if you don't mind hills ! There are great views of the city to be had and breezes in the evenings.

This newly completed studio has the feeling of a modern apartment with fresh white paint, spacious ceilings, and tasteful interiors that will have you so chuffed with yourself for choosing to stay here. BEDROOM The “Glen Retreat” can accommodate up to three guests and boasts a Queen size bed and a comfy sofa bed. Never fear, the sofa bed isn’t one of those clunky, pull-your-back-out, kind of sofa beds that squeaks as you make it up. It’s one of those retro, modern sofa beds. The ones that you can’t even tell if it is a sofa bed until you look closer. It can be made up super-fast each evening and stowed away just as easily come morning. Brilliant. PRIVATE BATHROOM Yes! Another win for our guests. When you stay at the “Glen Retreat” you have your own private and very modern bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, and toilet paper. The shower, toilet, hand basin and medicine cabinet aren’t squeezed into a tiny box at the back of the studio. No, no. There’s lots of room to move about and you won’t feel claustrophobic. There’s even a window above the toilet so you can have natural sunlight and fresh air! Delightful. KITCHENETTE As you move through the studio you will see the quaint kitchenette that is stocked with all necessary appliances, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery that you will need to cook your meals, and you will have the use of a portable two plate cook top and microwave. The kitchenette also comes with a super easy-to-clean sink (complete with dishwashing amenities), a bar fridge that’s big enough to store all your fresh foods/drinks, and additional cupboard space for other items. Complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate are included. Conveniently located within walking distance of 2 fabulous cafes, parks and supermarkets. Buses are within walking distance of the house allowing access to the city. Bonus of a beautiful park at the door of this is a charming location.
The kitchen space has a full fridge, microwave and portable electric hotplate and coffee machine. As well as these items there is an electric kettle and toaster. There are enough plates, cutlery and glassware for 4 people. Also there are basic cooking utensils such as microwave containers, saucepans and frying pans. Included in the studio is a front loading washing machine, with both internal and external clothes line, iron and ironing board. A selection of teas, coffee and coffee pods are provided, together with some other essential items to get you started, such as milk, bread and spreads. There is a queen bed, sofa, table and chairs and stools within the studio. The sofa converts to a double bed and the table folds out to accommodate 4 people. There are sufficient power points in the studio to allow for charging of devices. This compact space is very efficient in providing comfortable, affordable accommodation right next to the Brisbane CBD. Situated downstairs from a family of five, you will have a private space, but you will hear movement and voices from the family upstairs as it does have wooden floors.
Surrounded by other family homes and schools this is a great neighbourhood. Two local coffee shops are 300m away, with Ashgrove Village a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk. At the village you will find Woolworths, Coles and Aldi, as well as boutiques, delis, cafes, organic supplier, butcher, seafood and banking. There are many dining options as well. Slightly further afield you will find Ashgrove Golf Course, The Gap Tavern and Brookside Shopping Centre. From the village area there are different bus options to take into the city.

Alderley is a classic Brisbane suburb located just 10 minutes drive from the CBD and 20 to Brisbane Airport. We are located on the main road with access to everything you may need. There’s a Coles supermarket, restaurants, train station, buses and a bottle shop all within 5 minutes walk from the building. A service station/convenience store is right next to the building which is open 24hrs.

My home will hopefully feel like your home away from home. As can be expected from a house of this age, it has its quirks. I may or may not be fully finished painting the exterior (bigger job than I expected. I don't yet have WiFi. My apologies if this is a deal breaker for you. I do however have very comfortable couches to watch exciting free-to-air tv. There is free street parking available if you are driving. The driveway is not wide enough to park a number of vehicles in unfortunately.
Your room during your stay contains a comfy double bed. Towels and linen provided. Spare pillows and duvet / doona and linen available in the drawers in your room if required. My home is very close to the shops (IGA, Dominos, 7-11 etc). Chermside shopping centre is a 5 minute drive away. Sandgate is 10 mins the other way. The city is 20 mins drive or around 20-30 mins on the train.
Zillmere is a suburb thats pretty interesting. Its ethnically diverse. I've found it relatively quiet. There are certainly some interesting people around if you head up to the IGA after 8pm.

A separate, self contained apartment with it’s own entrance. We live upstairs with our two pomeranians, who might want to visit if you give them permission ! There are views, with a tropical garden and we are close to the city, airport and shops. There is frequent public transport either bus or train. Or if you have a car there is safe on street parking. The supermarket, a health food store , small Asian supermarket and good cafes and restaurants are close by all within walking distance.
A lovely, light and traditional style space with access to the back garden with views and breezes. There is a shared laundry with washing machine and dryer as well as plenty of washing lines outside.
We are very convenient to the airport and the city centre as well as a Coles supermarket which is a short walk away.

Look no further for your next stay in Brisbane, this modern, quiet, master room situated in a clean, leafy, relaxed complex is perfect for all types of travellers! Your room is the best one in my house! Private ensuite & balcony, TV, study desk, air con and the walk in robe even features your own kitchenette! Honestly, it's the quietest place I've ever lived which is surprising due to it's proximity to all the things you need for city living - Shops, transport and restaurants!
When you enter the complex you will be pleasantly surprised at how clean, peaceful and quiet it is. It's really quite relaxing staying here. The master bedroom can accommodate two guests and boasts a Queen size bed, small study desk, TV and walk in robe with kitchenette. The attached balcony is decked out with a table and chairs, Bernie the balcony fern used to live here (may he RIP) but he has been replaced with some hardy succulents! There are some solar fairy lights for those wishing to bask in their subtle ambience. You'll find the complex is quite peaceful both day and night and enjoy sitting out here. Your own private ensuite is stocked with environmentally friendly shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer (NB I don’t think hairdryers are enviro friendly). Even the supplied toilet paper and tissues do their bit to make the world a better place ("WHO GIVES A CRAP" brand - look them up) – so you can clean yourself with pride! The shower is quite large, as is the hand basin (weirdly so for an ensuite…) There’s plenty of natural light and privacy from the attached room if needed too. Inside the walk-in cupboard is a bar fridge that’s big enough to store all your fresh foods/drinks, and additional cupboard space for other items. A kettle, toaster and microwave are provided as well. The TV cabinet contains some bowls, plates, cutlery and complimentary tea & coffee. If the in-room kitchenette isn’t cutting it for you, you’re welcome to use the main kitchen that is stocked with all necessary white goods (they’re silver though), appliances, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery that you will need to cook your meals. Plenty of fridge and cupboard storage available and it’s super easy to clean up after yourself in the sink or dishwasher for larger cook-ups. Feel free to use the main living and dining areas with me – it’s kinda set up as a bachelor pad (think Joey and Chandler’s apartment from Friends) but ample big enough for us. There’s a small laundry behind the main kitchen with a brand-spankin’ new large front loader, with all the energy and water efficient stickers still intact to tell you how great it is. If you need to wash anything this is the place to do it. Out the back is where washing can be hung, there is a deck and a hammock here too and a veggie garden (or what I call garDAN) is constantly under construction. The complex has a pool and basic cardio gym – there are some opening time restrictions here so please be mindful of them (this isn't the time to stick to the man!)but otherwise, enjoy!
There are a number of parks and walking/bike tracks surrounding the complex and a minute drive or 1km walk puts you at the Everton Park Charlies/Woolworths hub featuring a range of places to eat, from sushi to vegan desserts! Although you can get good coffee here, my fave places are a short drive away to Elixir Coffee in Stafford or Tiller Coffee in Alderley.

My place is a little bit like an oasis away from the hectic City or West End action but yet so close. 10 minute walk and you are on Boundary Street. 5 minutes walk to a Greek and Thai. Of course there is a bottle shop. 5 minutes further you enter the strip of restaurants on Hardgrave Road. There is so much to do and explore around my place. The space is downstairs and you have your own entrance and carport. There is heaps of unlimited parking on the street. There are 2 bedrooms and a kitchen.
My place is an old Queenslander.
Iris’s home is located in West End, Queensland, Australia. West End is such a great place to explore, you will just love it!!!

This is a cosy cottage with beautiful natural gardens and hedged that make the place lovely and serene. the cottage is actually in the the middle of the busy bulimba/oxford street cimena and dining district...we have a beautiful cavalier dog that is in and around the property. there is a living room off the bedroom that is actually more like an ensuite to the room.
