The kitchen, the heart of the home, is large, modern and welcoming, offering dining for 16. Quality oak units with centre island, granite work tops and separate utility room with 2 dishwashers and washer dryer. 75 inch tv in kitchen. The King and Queen bedroom suites, have super size beds 6ft wide, Egyptian cottton bedding, power showers and Jacuzzis, each suite has a private balcony, so you can enjoy the rising sun with a hot drink or chilled champagne ! The other bedrooms all have king size beds 5ft wide with egyptian cotton bedding. We also can supply baby chair, travel cots and camp beds. The outside area is a safe, secluded sunny garden with trees that are over 300 years old. Access to decked BBQ area with loungers etc is to the side of house. The Hot Tub * Subject to weather, temperture and other conditions, has an additional cost, please discuss with Ken....* BBQ is gas and and charcoal, you use at own risk, gas and charcoal to be paid for. Dullatur, established 1708 is a fantastic conservation village, rich in heritage, a family community, warm and welcoming ! That's why my wife and I have lived there for over 30 years, bringing our children up. Depending on seasons, the long sunny day's, woodland walks and gardens are beautiful, In winter, the snow and sledging are fun. Watching the deer feeding in the garden is mesmerising ! When snowing, the nearby golf courses are used for sledging and sking, with plenty of snowball fights.

  • La torre de Wallace es pot veure des de la finestra del dormitori. Va ser tan tranquil i còmode que em vaig recuperar completament del meu vol a l'estranger. Estava molt net, amb molta aigua calenta i un bon esmorzar preparat al matí, que no esperava. Frank era un meravellós amfitrió, i em quedaria amb ell de nou.

    Two bedroomed spacious masionette, converted from a sandstone mews, the property has all the charm of a traditional building, but with all the modern finishes and fittings of a new home. The property boasts a large open living room/dining room/kitchen on the main level with the first master double bedroom and bathroom. The second of the two bedrooms is on the mezannine level with ensuite shower room and adjoining balcony, (balcony used as a third sleeping area, please note there is no doors to divide the balcony from this bedroom and this arrangement might not suit everyone), the bedroom is open plan and although it's upstairs the adjoining balcony is open over the living area. Please ensure you have a good understanding of the layout as again this might not suit everyone. We can accomodate upto six guests but please also note that our beds are not single, we have 2 kingsized, 1 double and 1 double airbed.     Welcome to The Married Quarters - the former accommodation for the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders 91st Regiment - located just a short walk to Stirling Castle. The Married Quarters is a beautiful 2 bedroom historic property situated in the heart of Scotland. The property is spacious, bright and comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. It is located a stone's throw from the Castle and benefits from direct views of the Castle, Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills.
    The property is set on large communal grounds with magnificent views of the Castle and out across the Forth Valley. The building has strong links to Stirling Castle and was part of the Castle Military Base, which served as accommodation for the Argyll Highlanders 91st Regiment, up until the 1960's. The property allows guests to enjoy being close to the Castle and only a 5 minute walk from town, whilst having access to the shared gardens which have unequalled views of the region. During the summer months, you can regularly hear the sound of bagpipes coming from the Castle. The gardens provide a peaceful area for relaxing in the centre of Stirling. The property features 2 bedrooms (1 x king size, 1 x double size plus 2 x portable trundle single beds that are usually set up in the lounge area), a large living area, separate fully fitted dining kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, gas central heating, Wifi access, Netflix guest account and free onsite parking.     There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly the post office, it is now a fully refurbished one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Please note that the village pub, The Swan is closed for refurbishment following a community buy-out. It is due to re-open late March/April 2020.
    This is a ground-floor converted stone cottage in the quiet village of Banton. There's a king size bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed can accommodate 2 more. The kitchen/dining/living area is semi open plan and there's an outdoor patio at the back if you're lucky enough to enjoy some Scottish sunshine. Although you can "get away from it all" here, it's also just 8 minutes drive from the M80 which is a gateway to the cities, historic sites and Highlands of Scotland. We're 25 minutes drive from Glasgow, 50 minutes from Edinburgh and 20 minutes from Stirling. There are lots of walks and the Forth and Clyde canal is a 20-minute walk away.
    This is a lovely Scottish village in the Kilsyth/Campsie foothills. There's a (quiet) pub across the road with a nice cosy cafe/restaurant and a wee shop and ‘The Village Gallery’ around the corner . There are tennis courts (honesty box donation), bowling club (for members), basketball court (free to use) and kids' playground. You can walk around Banton Loch, through the Colzium Estate (with waterfalls and lovely walled garden) and into Kilsyth (and get the bus back). Or you can do a circular route up to High Banton and back. Or you can walk east out of the village then down to the canal and along it before coming back up to Banton again.

  • La casa de la tapa d'estany és un meravellós lloc per allotjar-se. Ens allotgem a visitar la família i era ideal. Però també seria un camp base ideal per als excursionistes o els turistes que visiten Escòcia a causa dels seus vincles fàcils amb Glasgow, Edimburg, els campaments i altres atraccions escoceses. Tant molta atenció als detalls pels propietaris que fan que la nostra estada sigui extremadament còmoda. Després d'haver utilitzat uns quants llocs d'aire diferents, això era de lluny el millor. Sigui quina sigui la raó per la seva estada en aquesta zona, The Tin Lid Cottage és altament recomanable amb molts jocs de taula i joguines infantils subministrats per entretenir a tots en una vetllada. Gràcies per la seva excel·lent hospitalitat, reservarem en un futur pròxim la nostra propera visita a la família.

  • Es tracta d'una encantadora caseta d'un poble a la vegada remota però accessible (a 10 minuts de l'autopista). No hi ha senyal telefònic petit, però el Wi-Fi us manté ben connectat, si això és important per a vosaltres. Catherine és fantàstica per respondre als missatges que han fet que la nostra estada sigui molt suau. La casa és bàsica, però còmoda i acollidora: el pub a través de la carretera també és molt acollidor i fa bon menjar. Molt recomanable!

  • Ens va encantar el lloc de Catherine. Estàvem passant el dia de Nadal amb amics a Larbert, però necessitava un lloc per quedar-nos mentre portem el nostre gos. En arribar, Catherine ens havia deixat fer pastissos casolans i va venir per veure si estàvem bé. Ella va ser molt útil i em va tranquil·litzar quan em preocupava que el nostre gos tingués unes patilles humides. Hi havia moltes tovalloles que he fet servir. Va portar un assecador de cabells addicionals i, al dia següent, va sortir de casa fent mossegades de coco fora de la porta. Ens va quedar molt impressionat de no haver entrat perquè ens feia confiar i que teníem el nostre propi lloc. El pis era preciós. Molt net i acollidor. L'habitació era agradable i el bany tenia un bonic bany i dutxa. Hi havia molt espai per a les nostres pertinences als calaixos dels dormitoris. La cuina tenia una nevera, un munt d'armaris i estris, un forn i un microones. Hi havia un pati a la part posterior i alguns bons passejos als voltants. Hi ha un aparcament exterior. El poble de Banton no està massa lluny de l'autopista o Sainsburys de Denny. Vaig caminar al nostre gos al voltant del poble i prop de l'església baptista. Hem gaudit de la nostra estada i ens quedaríem de nou.

    Breakfast will be available for guests to help themselves to with tea and coffee available, Any special dietary requirements will need to be arranged prior to stay
    There is local shops and various take away shops including Chinese, Indian and chip shop with a Italian option , children's play park 2/3 min walk away there is also a pub/restaurant nearby. We also have a shopping centre a short drive away with a good range of clothes shops , Costa coffee , Tesco , Asda , and various fast food restaurants ( McDonalds , Burger King , Pizza Hut and more)

  • L'allotjament de Casa està genial, molt ben equipat i net i molt a prop de Glasgow, a més Marie és una amfitriona molt atenta sempre pendent per si necessites o vols alguna cosa. També et posa moltes coses per esmorzar com llet, cafè, te, cereals de molts tipus, pa, fruita, melmelada i mantega. A més si vols fer-te alguna cosa per sopar té també oli, sal, pebre ketchup etc. Sens dubte l'apartament està genial recomanable 100% per a estades de viistas a Escòcia. Si tornem, tornaríem a casa de Marie.

  • Pis sense interminables i molt ben equipat. Cumbernauld és un lloc ideal per fer turisme: he visitat Glasgow, Edimburg amb tren des de l'estació de Croy i fins i tot heu dut a prendre el ferry des de Gourock fins a Dunoon per fer una excursió de dia. Si us interessa la història de la zona, no us perdeu Rough Castle, el lloc d'una fortalesa romana a la Muralla d'Antonine. A només 15 minuts amb cotxe, amb entrada i aparcament gratuïts. El pis es troba en un carreró tranquil i vam tenir una estada fantàstica i tornarem a reservar.

    Brockieside is an idyllic hideaway where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Central Valley and Pentland Hills offering seclusion, comfort and relaxation. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with waterfalls and a lush landscape. But it's only a 30 minute drive to the lively city centres of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling.
    Brockieside is a stunning hideaway in the hills overlooking Glasgow and Edinburgh.  Built around 1806, Brockieside is a row of three adjoining shepherds' stone cottages one of which has been converted into a beautiful holiday home.  Sitting in 1.5 acres of private ground and set high in the Kilsyth Hills, the cottage has spectacular views with ample outside space for private parking, alfresco dining and a safe area for children and pets. You are surrounded by beautiful waterfall walks and lush countryside but it is only a 30 minute drive to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. The contemporary interior with wooden floors and central heating throughout has an open plan kitchen/living area with an electric cooker, beech worktops and butler sink. Down a short corridor is a living/dining room (with great views over the valley) with a double sofa-bed, TV, dining table, and stylish en-suite washbasin. Extra storage space is available in a double wardrobe also containing extra pillows and blankets for your comfort.  Stairs from the kitchen lead to a beautiful attic conversion comprising a double bedroom with king-sized double bed and memory foam mattress, Vellux window and wardrobe.  Opposite the bedroom is a lovely warm bathroom with a free standing Victorian roll-top bath with shower attachment. Bed linen and towels are provided.  You will also find a range of specialist teas and goodies to enjoy. Organic fed free range eggs made by a small troupe of specialist hens who live on site! Pets are most welcome. I have a small Border Terrier called Heeruh. A welcome basket is also available on request at a reasonable charge with items you may request for your arrival. Bread, milk etc There is a wealth of local historical attractions and interesting places to visit within short distances. There are also supermarkets, restaurants, parks and a train station locally.  Kilsyth High street has a chemist, butchers, a fishmonger, a bakery and greengrocer.

    The cottage has underfloor heating and heat recovery ventilation, ensuring you will be comfortable at all times. The lounge is spacious with a dining area leading through to the fully fitted kitchen, with access to the conservatory from the kitchen. There is a single bedroom with full height pull-out guest bed(sleeps 1/2) and the double bedroom has an en-suite wet room. The family bathroom has a small corner bath, mainly suitable for children.
    Small dogs may be allowed, at our discretion, but are expressly not allowed on furniture or beds. We do not allow cats.

  • El Auchyle Guest House és preciós. Estava perfectament situat entre el centre de la ciutat i l’Uni. Fàcil accés a les línies d’autobús i una bonica caminada a peu. Mandi tenia bons tocs com el te a l'habitació i alguns refrigeris. Tenia tot el que necessitava i Mandi era xerrant i em va suggerir coses fantàstiques per veure a la zona. Definitivament em quedaria de nou.

    This is a great base for exploring central Scotland and the Highlands The City of Stirling is ideal if you want to explore Scotlands history, while Edinburgh and Glasgow are within easy reach by train or car. Friendly , popular restaurant pub 5 mins walk Supermarket and Post Office 10 mins walk. Beautiful scenic woodland walks ,Stirling Castle and the North Third reservoir (fishing) nearby.   • Aquesta era una casa preciosa, neta i còmoda en un bon barri de Stirling. Gail va ser molt amable i agradable. Vam tenir un cotxe i el castell estava a pocs minuts amb cotxe. Era la nostra primera nit al país i només passàvem per una nit. Però podríem quedar-nos aquí més temps algun dia. Després de la nostra estada estaven ben descansats i preparats per recórrer el castell de Stirling i anar a Glencoe. Gràcies a Gail.

    Upstairs room is in a traditional 50's style Scottish housing estate close to the main road. There are local shops, pubs and food carry outs, parking and a garden in this quiet street.
    Single bed in an upstairs double room that has a large window, lockable cupboard, bedside table, chair, chest of drawers and bookcase/ desk. Wireless internet by password. If your interested in a sublet the dates can probably be varied to suit.
    St Ninians was once a separate village. You can walk to the town centre or to the rest of Bannockburn battlefield. Close to shops, Chinese and Indian takeaways, Chip shop, hairdressers, chemists, Lidl supermarket, Post Office, library, pubs, betting shop, church, mosque and acres of greenspace.

Lovely large bedroom with ensuite shower room.
    The local shopping centre is a 5 minute drive away and includes major stores like Tesco, Asda, Next and TK Maxx There are many restaurants within either walking distance or a short taxi ride. Milano's Italian Steak House, Broadwood Farm Carvery and Pizza, Smiddy Inn and Craigmarloch Lodge Traditional pub grub.

    My place is close to the city centre. You’ll love my place because of the location, near Stirling Castle. My place is good for solo adventurers, and business travellers.
    My house was built in the 1800's and is situated on the hill leading to Stirling Castle and the Wallace monument is nearby, 20 minute walk. Train station 10 minute walk. Shops 5 minute walk.
    We live in the oldest part of the city being situated on the hill of the castle and the oldest ale house in Stirling 1733 is also on our street.

Built circa 1885, this unique building once housed the Belgium Embassy prior to being converted into 3 Apartments around 1935
    Accessed from its own private door and staircase, Ochil View is located on the upper floor allowing lots of natural light to permeate the rooms. With some rooms benefitting from views over to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, this property is ideally placed for sightseeing both in Stirling and further afield with bus and train stations a short 10-minute walk away. The lounge has all original features including decorative cornicing, Victorian skirting and window shutters, columns and marble fireplace and has beautiful views out across Southfield Crescent – this is a wonderful area with rhododendrons and rabbits in abundance!     My husband and I would like to welcome you in to our home right beside the Battle of Bannockburn and on the edge of some beautiful Scottish countryside. Make yourself right at home in our bright double bedroom. There is a bus stop into Stirling city centre (and Prudential if this is the reason for your stay), and car hire company right beside our home. We are 2 miles from junction 9 of the M9 (motorway) giving us fantastic motorway links to the whole of Scotland.
    Perfectly situated right on the edge of the beautiful Scottish countryside, you can step right out of the front door, take a walk and enjoy the views and fresh air. Or catch the bus into Stirling City Centre, where you will find Stirling Castle and many good pubs and restaurants. There is also a pub (far enough away that there is no noise, but literally 1mins walk) nearby called the 1314 which serves basic pub grub at the weekend. 1 min walk in the other direction will take you to the Bruce's Bistro and just a little further (5min walk) you can reach the Hollybank restaurant. All establishments serve refreshments.

Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Ayrshire and Perthshire too. Very close to John Muir Way, Antonine Wall, Colzium Estate, Kelvin Valley, Carron Valley. Situated on a working farm with sheep and cattle, our farm was the site of the Battle of Kilsyth in 1645. Spectacular scenery.
    Our wee bothy is cosy and original. It is tastefully decorated and comfy. We have an outside hut for you to sit in and read or drink hot chocolate and watch the world go by. There's a lovely outdoor seating area for barbeques and sunny days. It is a lovely space to be with your friends and family in.
    Our bothy is nestled into the Kilsyth Hills above the beautiful, peaceful village of Banton. We are a 5 minute walk from the village itself. In Banton there is a pub, which is going to be refurbished very soon. It presently serves alcohol and food. There is a Multi Use Games area (football, basketball) and a childrens' play park. There are tennis courts in the village available for a small fee to the bowling club. There are walks around the village and along the canal. The village is a safe place to walk around.

    Light and airy terrace cottage. Warm, clean and tidy. Great transport links to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and the Highlands. Located in the Scottish newtown of Cumbernauld with many parks and open spaces plus a large shopping centre located 10 mins walk from house.
    The house is light and airy and was designed by the original architects of the new town, there are large sliding glass doors onto a wooden deck which benefits from all day sun. There is a gas bbq available for guests use. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and all utensils.
    The suburb is called Seafar and the local population is made up of individuals and families. Close to the town centre, it a short walk to a large shopping centre with many shops, supermarkets, a library, museum and the main bus stops.

    This is a mid terraced house within 7 minute walk of Stirling Town Centre, railway and bus stations, cinema and restaurants. There is a small south facing back garden which looks out across the river Forth to open farmland.
    This terraced house is close to public transport and gives good access to Central Scotland. It is in a quiet cul de sac just along from the Old Port of Stirling. The garden looks onto the River Forth which is tidal at that point. The back garden is a suntrap on where you can look out over the river and farmland and watch the tide ebb and flow. Ducks and swans are often seen and if you are really lucky you might see a seal! There is a small shop within a one minute walk selling basic food items. The house has an HMO (house in multiple occupancy) licence from Stirling Council which means it complies with stringent safety rules. This means there are self-closing doors and safety lights. It is occupied by students at the University for most of the year and is generally only available in the summer when they are away. Although the house will sleep six the third bedroom which has a double bed is small and probably better suited to children or one adult . There is no stair gate so care needs to be taken if small children are in the house.
    Small quiet cul de sac beside the river yet within easy walking distance of the historic centre of Stirling. The house is beside the Old Port of Stirling and although boats no longer berth there it is not unknown for seals to make it this far up the river.

  • Pis encantador i espaiós a Riverside, Stirling. Excel·lent ubicació, a menys de 10 minuts a peu del centre de la ciutat, a la volta de la bolera. Molt a prop de les estacions d’autobusos i trens. Està perfectament situat per arribar a la Universitat de Stirling. Lynn i Iain són grans amfitrions. Són extremadament eficients per donar suport als seus convidats durant tot el viatge. Un bonic jardí al pati que permet menjars a l'aire lliure amb vista. Saló acollidor amb taula de menjador i còmodes sofàs. Les tres habitacions tenen llits molt confortables i un gran traster per a les vostres coses. Molt agradable i càlid i dutxes, amb banyera també. Excel·lent Wifì a tot arreu de la casa. No hem pogut recomanar prou aquesta propietat.

  • Un lloc fantàstic per allotjar-se a Stirling, encantadora vista sobre el riu, situat a poca distància a peu de les botigues, pubs i restaurants. A prop de l'estació si voleu viatjar per qualsevol altre lloc. Els amfitrions ho van comunicar tot amb molta claredat i la propietat tenia totes les instal·lacions que podríeu desitjar o necessitar i una petita botiga de conveniència a la carretera per obtenir informació bàsica com la llet, etc. Recomano romandre aquí.

  • Lynn és una gran amfitriona, vam passar una estona molt agradable al seu lloc. No ens hem trobat amb Lynn, però el seu fill Iain era molt amable i va respondre a les nostres necessitats. El lloc és ampli, net, la comunicació era fantàstica, teníem tota la informació que necessitàvem. La cuina està molt ben equipada, i podríem preparar menjars calents. La ubicació és fantàstica, amb una vista magnífica sobre el riu. Tot i això, uns 10 min. a poca distància del centre de la ciutat, de l'estació d'autobusos i de l'estació de ferrocarril. Centre comercial Tesco a uns 15 min. caminar. Lloc molt silenciós, no hi ha sorolls des del carrer. Calorament recomanable! AAA +++

  • Molt bonica casa i ben situada a pocs minuts del centre de la ciutat. Les habitacions són espaioses i ofereixen una vista magnífica sobre el riu i el paisatge on preval la calma. Plaça d’aparcament davant de la casa. La cuina té tot l'equipament necessari. El saló també ofereix al riu un accés directe a un petit jardí. La decoració és agradable i els llocs estaven molt nets. Molt bona roba de llit. El propietari deixa les indicacions de diverses visites i d'altres.

    Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom self contained flat, in a quiet village near Falkirk. Just off the M8 and has beautiful views over the Forth and Clyde Canal approximately 3 miles from Falkirk Wheel. Views from this flat are stunning.
    I communicate on booking then a few days before arrival with any information my guests may require, there is always plenty of clean towels and extra if required. There are toiletries available, beverages and biscuits. Off road parking.
    Close to Falkirk Wheel, Stirling Castle, Kelpies, horse riding facilities and local shop below the flat which can deliver a cooked breakfast or filled hot or cold rolls also home made soup and meals if required. With in a couple of miles there is a great selection of restaurants and Take aways.

    Comfortable one bedroom apartment in a secluded and quiet corner of the historic centre of Stirling. Once the married quarters for officers from the Argyll and Sutherhland Highlanders it is only a few minutes walk from Stirling castle and other attractions. In addition it is close to city centre shops, bars and restaurants and easily accessible from public transport or main roads north and south. Please note that the flat is on the first floor of a block, one flight of stairs to climb.
    Sitting at the top of castle rock, just below the castle itself the apartment is set is its own grounds with fantastic views east towards Edinburgh. It is comfortably furnished and well equipped for short stays, perfect for couples and small families who want a base to explore Stirling or Central Scotland and the Trossachs. There are great walks around the castle rock from the doorstep of the flat. You are free to enjoy the large garden along with other residents in the property. Nice BBQ area overlooking the town and Wallace monument. Sleeping arrangements are flexible; there is one double bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed and a single futon chair bed in the living room. In addition to this there is also a travel cot for infants. I provide a basic welcome pack for guests which includes fruit, milk, bread, butter, cheese portions and cereals. In addition there are also basics such as pasta, rice and oil; enough for a basic meal till you get to the shops. There is also shampoo and shower gel provided.
    The apartment is known locally as the Married Quarters since, until the 1980s, it was part of the castle and used as accommodation for married officers. You can still see the billet numbers over the main doors. The property is very central but quiet, secluded and friendly. There are some good restaurants within walking distance: The Portcullis beside the castle does a great dinner or The Bothy near the flat does a fantastic breakfast. The oldest pub in Stirling, The Settle Inn, is a friendly and great for a good beer, very lively at the weekend!

    Compact but quiet double room (using futon and air mattress combined) in top floor apartment with great views over Stirling. Ample private free parking. 10 minutes from train and bus station. Host is resident and share kitchen and lounge area. Note this is 3rd floor apartment with no elevator.
    I'm an easy going host with a nice flat to share with considerate visitors. I'm fairly environmentally-minded. Stirling is a great small university city with easy access to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
    Historic Stirling Castle and old town within 5 minutes walk. One or two very nice cafes nearby who do home cooking and the usual range of diverse food outlets with home delivery available. Transport and shopping centre within 10 minutes. Bus stop nearby for University and Wallace Monument. Supermarket and restaurants within 5-10 minutes too. 40 minutes by train to Edinburgh and 30-40 minutes to Glasgow.
