A lovely villa into a lovely village by the sea. Ideal for families with kids or couples and friends which want to relax and explore the magnificent area of Ermionida.
The house has indoor and outdoor facilities with a large veranda on the ground floor, which forms a natural extension to the splendid garden and a lovely covered veranda on the top floor with a panoramic view.
Our villa being about 150 meters away from the sea is part of Porto Hydra Village, which consists of villas with lovely gardens, artificial channels, a beautiful sandy beach and a lot of facilities.
Porto Hydra is a 24/7 guarded and car free village in the Peloponese, district of Argolida, overlooking the island of Hydra and Dokos.
It is a two floor villa with a total surface of 90m2, has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 WC, and accommodates up to 8 people. It provides smart TVs, Internet WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room and an outside BBQ at the garden.
Thermissia is the closest village 3 km away where you will be able to do your every day shopping from the local market as well as dine in the few lovely tavernas.
The nearest town is Ermioni, a picturesque fishing village which is a 15 min drive where you can find banks, post office, ATM machines, doctors, pharmacies, a tourist office and the main port. There is also a colourful typical Greek farmers-producers market every Thursday morning, selling fresh fruit, fish, as well as various clothing, footwear, handicrafts and domestic household items. The town has many lunch and dine options.
Excursions to the nearby Saronic islands:
Hydra: one of the most picturesque island in Greece, is only 20 mins away by sea taxi. The charming town will amaze you at first sight with the elegant grey stone mansions constructed over the hill. Motor vehicles are not allowed and all transport is done by foot or donkeys! Visiting Hydra during dusk will enable you to enjoy the breathtaking famous Greek sunset.
Spetses: a well-known gorgeous island, is approximately 40 mins away from Porto Hydra by car and 10 min. by sea taxis ot boats afterwards. It excites the visitors with its pine forested landscapes and its beautiful beaches with crystal waters. Transport into the island is done only by horse carriages, bicycles and motors. Definitely worth a visit!
Poros: another Saronic jewel with pine trees hanging over the sea, charming beaches and important attractions, is a little paradise no more than 45 min. drive to Galatas port and 5 min ferry trip.

Porto Heli: a small seaside town with a large port, only 20 km. away from our villa. This natural big port closed to the winds is full of fishing boats and yachts in the summer, giving Porto Heli a cosmopolitan and vibrant atmosphere. It is an area of great natural beauty, with beautiful beaches and has plenty of shops, tavernas, cafes and lovely bars.
Epidavros: only 48 km away from Porto Hydra Village, is one of the most popular archaeological sites in Greece. It is mostly famous for its ancient theatre which was constructed the 4th century B.C. and still hosts performances of ancient Greek drama in the summer period. Make sure to check for any plays around the time of your visit-it is most worthy seeing a play. I can promise you that it will be a once in a lifetime experience!
Mycenae: a very prosperous town in the ancient times, gave its name to an entire civilization, the Mycenaean civilization. It is situated 93 km from our house.
Nafplio: a 75 km drive, is one of the most beautiful towns in the area of Argolida as well as one of the most romantic cities , all over Greece. Nafplio was the first capital of the newly born Greek State. Ancient walls, medieval castles, monuments and statues, Ottoman fountains and Venetian or neoclassical buildings mesmerize the visitor with their unique architecture and beauty. All this beautiful places have played an integral part in Greek history and culture.
