Our cosy self-contained studio is warm, clean and homely. Ideal for a solo traveller or couples. The Studio is only an 8 minute drive from Picton and the ferry (approx. 4kms), the cafes, restaurants, bars, aquarium, museum and the gateway to the Queen Charlotte Sounds. Enjoy the many walks, bike tracks and choice of boat cruises on offer from the Picton foreshore, or simply use our place as a convenient ferry stopover. Blenheim is only a 35 min drive if you want to explore further afield.

Just fifteen minutes south of Blenheim, Hares hut is a charming cottage set on 50 acres of river flat, terraces and hill. Cosy up next to the wood fire, relax on the verandah or explore the many tracks along the Taylor river and the hill. With vineyards, mountain bike tracks and the Marlborough Sounds nearby, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy our beautiful region. The cottage garden provides herbs for your use in the well equipped kitchen. We welcome dogs and can provide a horse paddock.

The BBQ is located in a covered area at the entrance to the apartment. It has 2 hotplates and a burner on which a pot or frying pan can be used. All pots and cooking utensils are provided. Our modest Little hoilday bach is a great place to relax or use as a base while exploring picton and malbrough sounds Scenic Paradise ... 10 +? minute walk to the picton marina via the Victoria track. 15- 20 +? minute walk to café, shops, supermarket, and ferry. via-Victoria track (not the road) our view is ever changing. The council has just removed the large trees and planted native bush.
