Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

The Loft

Situated just 2 minutes north of Decorah on Hwy 52, this completely separate 1,300 sq. ft space features a full kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 1 bath, 3 queen beds & sleeps 6 people! This space has a large 6 person island to enjoy dinner &/or drinks with family & friends, or take it outside to the elevated deck & enjoy the scenery. We are just 2 minutes from the Trout Run Trail, the Upper Iowa River & Luther College, which is just down the hill. Our lovely downtown Decorah is only 5 minutes away.

CR Station Train Caboose

Enjoy the restoration of our charming and cozy caboose! Complete with all the amenities you'll need and more! Linens and towels, refrigerator, microwave, a double burner hot plate, dishes for cooking, barware for cocktailing, and even the original conductor's chairs to watch the sunset over the horse pasture. Enjoy our private Guesthouse with full amenities and our shared courtyard for your weekend couples getaways. Full bath, free internet, kitchenette with dorm fridge. *NEW* we have installed a hot tub in the courtyard. We also have a fire pit out back for use if you’d like. We do have 2 Great Danes. Do to continued problems with people following our pet rules, we no longer allow pets of any kind. Please don’t ask. Your suite is completely private but our courtyard is a shared space

Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Nestling Pines Treehouse

Nestling Pines Treehouse is nestled amongst the Pine trees on a hill deep in the woods. There is designated parking for treehouse guest only. A 60 foot bridge starts your walk up the trail to the treehouse. Then a 250 foot gravel path leads you to this beautiful Treehouse. Has electricity, running hot/cold water, walk-in-shower, flushing toilet, 2 full size beds, fridge ,A/C, electric heat , ample kitchen amenities, toiletry items supplied, and housekeeping.

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

Berry Hill Flat

Berry Hill Flat sits perched on a bluff above Trout River Valley. Trout live in beautiful places and so do we! The Flat offers a king bed in the bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, twin bed, and private ground floor entrance. It is the lower level of our beautiful log home nestled in the walnut trees. Minutes to Decorah, Waukon, or the trout stream in the Valley below.

WHITETAIL CABIN

Decorah named most charming town in Iowa - again Decorah is one of 50 Best small towns in America. Cabin with full kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, 1 full bath, lower level has 2 futons, satellite TV, central air, extra large deck, gas grill. Less than 1 mile from Decorah's bike trail, Decorah Eagle Nest, Iowa State Fish Hatchery, 500' to snowmobile trail, fire pit with wood supplied.

Acorn Cabin
