You’ll love my place because it sets on a 50 acre beautiful horse farm with QUIET and RELAXING indoor/outdoor spaces, fishing pond, riding trails, and comfy Queen bed. My place is good for couples, solo/business travelers and couples with children. The Charming Cottage is peacefully located in the country 10 minutes from Richlands and nestled behind a tree line for your privacy. The front porch is great for an evening of gathering by the chiminea and fun times. The home is suited for 2 adults and 2 children (4 people max) or just a nice retreat for a couple's weekend and or vacation. 2 bedroom 1 bathroom . You’ll be right at home with a stocked coffee bar, TVs in every bedroom plus a dedicated workspace for those working remote. We also have a golf cart available to ride the property for an additional fee of $25 per day billed separately.

We are 1.5 miles away from grocery stores, gas stations and fast food restaurants. Baby friendly items include high chair and stroller. Enjoy country living in the little big town of Jacksonville.

Making Waves

This completely remolded home was built in the early 1950’s. My husband remolded the home in 2012. It is very homey and has been decorated with beach decor from one end to the other. The kitchen has everything you would need from electric skillet to a crockpot. It has foils,baggies, salt, pepper, oil, coffee and filters. It also has a laundry room. So much charm and very inviting. We are centrally located in Jacksonville. Close to all military bases and the beaches within 35 miles.

Country Cottage

The Cottage is 800 sq ft of living space. There is a galley kitchen with everything you need to cook. We have one bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. We also have a laundry area with a washer and dryer for your use. The Cottage has one queen size bed and queen sleeper sofa and is ideal for a couple. Guests entry has a walk in closet with a dresser, hanging storage for your clothes as well as extra bed covers. Our cottage is decorated with recycled and repurposed vintage items.

Centrally located to Camp Lejeune, MCAS, restaurants, shopping and beaches - 25 miles either north or south of Jacksonville. Whether your trip is for business or pleasure, make sure to keep an eye out for the gator in the backyard creek. Kayakers be mindful if you decide to cruise to the New River as gators have been sighted along that journey. Plenty of sidewalks if you must get a run/walk in before your day begins. And finally enjoy a cup of coffee relaxing on the covered porch.
