Nella parte meridionale dell’altopiano Ibleo, tra carrubi secolari e macchia mediterranea, si erge l'inconfondibile sagoma di Villa Cammarana, nobile dimora di campagna del XVIII secolo. Dalla facciata neoclassica, salendo l’antica scala esterna in pietra, si arriva al piano nobile dove si diparte il grande terrazzo con bastioni in calcare intagliato, da cui si domina il paesaggio straordinario della campagna iblea; all’orizzonte il mare con il faro di Punta Secca e le rovine greche di Kamarina.

Siamo in pieno centro storico. Casa indipendente, con spettacolare vista panoramica(circa 90 gradini per arrivare, tipici a Modica), luminosa e arredata con cura. Terrazzino, living con divano, cucina a vista e tavolo da pranzo. Due camere da letto, una con un grande letto(tatami con futon) e vista stupenda, l'altra più piccola (tatami con futon)e una finestra alta. Due bagni con spaziose docce. WIFI free, aria condizionata, lavanderia. Vicina a caffè, ristoranti, mercato, negozi di alimentari.

Restored in July 2017, the house consists of two studios of 28 square meters with each an independent entrance. Inside, the kitchen-living area with sofa bed, induction cooking facility and the bathroom are on the ground floor; the double bed is on the mezzanine with the possibility to add a single bed. Antica casa rupestre abbarbicata alle pareti di roccia del colle San Matteo, ristrutturata ed ampliata per creare un rifugio del tempo, in cui dimenticarsi del mondo esterno, immergersi nella memoria e nella storia del luogo. Casa Corto Maltese ha un giardino segreto recintato ombroso e riservato con 2 antiche grotte e una terrazza prospicente l'ingresso da cui si domina l'intera Scicli. Tra le mura rocciose di questa casa ha preso corpo il romanzo "il Corvo di Pietra" di Marco Steiner.
