The Byre is a tranquil cottage ideally positioned to enjoy all Mid-Wales has to offer. Perfect for visitors wanting a peaceful break or an adventure. Dogs are welcome too! Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

The bedroom is in a converted barn with its own access. Ideally located for walkers and easy access to the Royal Show Ground. Please note that the access to the house is via a fairly steep and narrow lane (last section is a track with loose gravel), not suitable for HGVs. We now provide super fast internet!! Nestled in a quiet wooded valley on a field in Midwales you will find The Old Grain Store Wales. It has been renovated to a high standard, we have added lots of luxurious touches too. You can soak away your stresses in the private hot tub, enjoy a BBQ or toasting smores on the fire pit, which is situated on the bridge over the brook, enjoy reading a book in the king size bed with gorgeous views or relax on the sofa and watch the TV. We have a king size bed, double sofa bed and 1 single sofa bed.

The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food.
