Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to Picton and Waikawa Bay yet far enough away to feel you are a long way from both. Perfect environment for peace and quiet, but also perfect central spot to explore Marlborough. Ample space for children and animals to play. Plenty of parking space, including a boat. Up a private right of way, set in native bush, this modernised cottage offers views of Waikawa Bay. Wake up to birdsong. Watch the tui flitting between the trees and maybe a weka crossing the lawn. Gaze at native bush and hills or watch the boats in the Bay. A wonderful place to chill out in the last of sun. Walking distance to bike tracks, the beach & marina/pub. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a secluded pool and wood-fired hot tub, it’s a convenient base for couples, families and friends exploring Marlborough’s wineries, Picton and the Sounds. Across the vines are the Richmond Ranges, whose silhouette inspired Cloudy Bay’s iconic wine label. The Picton ferry, both airports and cellar doors are within easy reach.
