Just 45 miles from sandhill crane migration! Avoid "party city" on Husker weekends with a family-friendly place to stay! Travel nurses - hospitals in Friend, York, Crete, and Geneva are nearby! College students - just 14 miles from Concordia, 31 miles from UNL, 33 miles from Doane, 12 miles from SCC in Milford.

Hattie’s 1898 Homestead’

Whether you are here to experience the crane migration, the state or county fair, a national or local trap shoot, or to visit family, this comfortable home is the place to rest. Owned by the same family who homesteaded this farmland in the late 1800's, this home has been remodeled. It boasts all the modern conveniences, but with the farm charm. It has all the amenities of home with a couple miles of mowed trails in the trees that lead you to a pond for fishing and reflection and the Platte River for beautiful scenery and playing in when the water is low in the summer! This lodge celebrates our hunting heritage and displays many animals harvested on or near this property.

Coziest place in town This is a tiny home tucked away in the heart of Aurora. within walking distance to our wonderful square in the center of town. This home is a perfect place for you to stay during your visit to Aurora. The house can sleep 4 individuals however it would best suited for 2 children and 2 adults if reaching the maximum of 4 individuals. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.

The loft is located on the second floor up a flight of stairs. No elevator access. One free parking space in alley. Street parking also available.

Country Getaway - 13 Acres - Pet Friendly

Stay in a cabin on a homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about 10-minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings. There is a second home on the property that is also available and listed on Airbnb. The place can and has easily fit numerous camping arrangements on the 13 acre plot. Pets are welcome, and folks should know there are three barn cats on the property.
