There is a seperate sleeping pod with a Queen size bed 2 metres from main dwelling for an extra 2 guests. Amazing second Hot outdoor shower under the trees.

Kōtuku Cottage - spacious seclusion by the water

This quiet cottage is nestled amongst mature native trees in iconic Totara Avenue, 10 mins from Collingwood, and overlooking a tidal estuary and bush-clad hills, with the beach just over the road. The spacious open plan kitchen, dining, living area is private and sunny. The main bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a queen and two singles in a bunk. Kōtuku has a wooden deck along two sides, where you can sit and enjoy the view, or you can watch the tides from a private jetty.

The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

Beautiful Tata Beach, Golden Bay. Our little cottage is tucked close into Tata Beach, just a short stroll for your morning dip. Warm and sunny, this clean and easy care space is the perfect place to come to unwind, relax and allow nature to wrap its blanket around you. We have kept the space simple and uncluttered and love the simplicity of the cottage. With some recycled building products, no fussy modern ornaments, no chairs and tables this is a small and uncomplicated place to relax.

Our unique Flax Pod cabin is a repurposed shipping container with epic views of Golden Bay. It suits a relaxed couple, has a comfy queen bed, sofa and kitchenette. Large bi-folding doors open onto a deck where you can totally relax, enjoy a cold beer, and soak up the sea views. Its in a great location and a great base to explore Golden Bay from. Enjoy getting back to the basics, dozing in a hammock, a unique outdoor hot tub, a friendly weka or two and a spectacular night sky.

Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.

Te Whare o Kea - A tiny house with a big heart!

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. A non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, guest stays have enabled over $20,000 worth of donations to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.

Only a 5 minute stroll to Pohara beach 300m away, and a 5 minute drive to explore nearby Ligar Bay and Tata Beach, 2 minute drive to the Abel Tasman memorial lookout on the way, with a shop and eateries nearby also.
