Make use of our kayaks and paddle board on the harbour, relax in the heated pool, or take an easy stroll over to Ohope beach for a swim. Welcome to our ‘West End Beauty’, situated directly across the road from the Ohope West End Beach (literally a stone’s throw). Enjoy a drink, absolute beach front, on the deck while watching the surfers. Later, stargaze and listen to the waves at night. Take in the stunning views of White Island and Whale Island. And it’s only a short walk to the rocks at the end of the beach. Ohope Beach is voted New Zealand’s most loved beach, and is one of the safest surf beaches in the country.

Located in the heart of Rotoma, close to Cafe , boat ramp & service station. One of only 10 properties on the lake side with a large reserve area at the rear of the property. 30 minute drive from Rotorua & 40 minutes from Whakatane. Stay in our cosy tiny house at Ohiwa Harbour and enjoy the wide open spaces right at our door step. The harbour is a very special place to us and we like to share it with you. Watch the birds, kayak, swim, walk or just let the time go by. Our tiny house is all about simple living in a very beautiful part of the world. There is a shared outdoor toilet and hot shower. You have your own rustic outdoor kitchen with a hand basin, cold water and small camping gas stove.
