With Potsdam and Massena only 15 miles away, you have the best of both the civilized and the natural world when staying at our cabin. We look forward to hosting guests who will enjoy the natural solitude, privacy and aesthetic comforts of the cabin, garden, and beautiful forest trails on our tranquil 101 acre property.

Located 10 minutes or less from Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, Canton-Potsdam Hospital, and Windy Point Stables, this property is an excellent choice for families, groups, healthcare professionals, and wedding guests. Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Sleep at the Stables- A Country Retreat

Enjoy our country getaway on 130 acres, just minutes from Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton. Explore our horse barn, hiking trails, stream, or relax by the pond. We are located close to great snowmobiling and skiing trails also! The studio apartment is located above a newly constructed garage, that is not attached to our house so you have plenty of privacy. It is an open layout with a queen bed, a daybed, and a twin trundle that can be pulled out.

Riverside Cabin & Nature Trails

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all communities.

At our clean and comfortable Loft suite, you will find yourself close to the colleges and downtown activities, while staying in a country setting on six acres of land, beautiful trees, dark, star-lit nights, and we have a swing set in the backyard that you can use. You will enjoy a completely private unit with its own private entrance and no shared spaces at all. You will find yourself surrounded by maple, spruce, and tamarack trees, and Clarkson University is close enough to see.

This is a beautifully renovated house. River access for kayaking, canoeing, swimming. kayaks and life jackets are available for guests. There is a large back yard with a firepit facing the water as well as a back porch/deck and a large side/front deck to enjoy watching the water and wildlife. The area is quiet and peaceful but yet directly located in the town of Potsdam. There are window AC units in each bedroom as well as central heat.

Lazy River Cottage

This well loved family-friendly river cottage is ready for you. The river is just steps from the house with breath taking views and sunsets to remember. Great fishing from the waterfront and dock. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit near the shore. The water is wonderful for those swimmers in your family. There are paddle boats and kayaks in season. Conveniently located close to St. Lawrence University and Clarkson.

Welcome to Potsdam, NY. There is a $50 fee per each dog. No cats allowed (one of us has a severe cat allergy).
