The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting seven unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1,300 acre preserve and Newbert pond. If you need a time out and desire to embrace nature's way, Smitten is the perfect place to experience a memorable getaway.

Beautiful hand built cabin, overlooking Cotton Pond. Ten minutes from Camden, the sailing mecca of the east coast. Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

Blue Life Farm

Blue Life Farm is an entirely private three acre property with an off grid cabin. Close to lakes and rivers for swimming, boating, and fishing. It's only 20 miunutes to the costal town of Belfast, and 45 minutes to the city of Bangor. The cabin has a full bathroom with on demand hot water, kitchen including all utentsils and a good-size covered porch and deck. The cabin is powered by solar, and propane for on-demand hot water and built in stovetop and uses an efficient composting toilet.

Drift Cottage near the coast

This simplistic cottage sits atop a blueberry hill in Union Maine. Sit and enjoy a fire and view of the hills. It's only a 3 minute walk to groceries, pizza, Cafe, and The Sterlingtown restaurant, with outdoor seating and live music! or get take out and enjoy the outdoor Asian inspired dining area for an unforgettable night! perfect overnight spot on the way to Acadia! 1.5 hours away. 15 minutes to Owls Head, Camden, Rockland. Perfect cental spot for day trips to the prettiest of Maine!

The Cabin -Skowhegan

Main floor has living area, kitchen and dining area, 1 queen bed, with a daybed and trundler. Loft has 2 twin beds. The couch could be used as a bed, full bathroom. Has no kitchen sink but has a kitchen area with microwave, large air fry oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and coffee maker, iron/board. Also has TV, DVD/Blue ray player, Gas BBQ (May to November 1st.), as well as a picnic table, out door fire pit. For guest who are traveling by plane, towels are provided, upon request.

Ragged Mountain Retreat

Get away from it all. Minutes from beautiful Camden and Rockland. Rustic, peaceful cabin is nestled alongside Camden’s Ragged Mountain with miles of pristine hiking /biking trails at your doorstep. Birch Hill Cabin is set on the side of a hill, surrounded by almost 8 acres of woods. The cabin is 288 square feet, and the bathroom is detached and located approximately 20 feet from the cabin. A hot tub is conveniently located off the deck for ultimate relaxation! This cabin is tucked away, surrounded by nature! But also conveniently located to so many wonderful spots in the Midcoast! Come enjoy the peace and quiet, where you can rest and recharge!
