The East Cabin is quietly tucked between the Green Mountains of VT and the Adirondacks of NY. Grill steaks on the BBQ and eat S’mores by the campfire at night. Farm fresh products for purchase at our farm store, including our own pasture raised beef. The perfect getaway for a couple or family, with two bedrooms (one with bunkbeds), dinning area, propane "wood" stove, living room, full bath, and washer & dryer. The back deck and yard are great for grilling.

Granville NY has a large grocery store and other shops and is only a 15 min. drive.

The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s. Complete with brand-new, architect-designed kitchen and bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, and stone patio for outdoor grilling and dining, the Smithy is beautiful inside and out. Enjoy meeting our goats and all the local goodies and products that we can stock in your cottage.

I enjoy booking my two-story in-law apartment with a private entrance, which is attached to my 1850 Poultney Village home. I am located a block from Main Street with shops, books, and eateries. I am in the lakes region of Vermont, close to both Lake St. Catherine and Lake Bomoseen. Killington is 35 miles away. We am also located a mile from the NY border and the entrance to Lake George and the Adirondacks.
