The outside yard is shared space, yet, we don’t walk in front of your windows and will respect your privacy. There’s a garden & fruit trees to graze in season.

A laundry is provided for guest use only. Hikes into the canyon below or neighborhood above are a special treat.

Treetop Pavilion Guest Suite with Views in Marin

Stunning modern rooftop studio suite with expansive views. Nestled amongst the hills of San Anselmo, this mid-century gem is guarded by a graceful cork oak. Beautiful hikes directly from the doorstep to surrounding hills or a 5 minute walk to the funky town of Fairfax with great restaurants, bars and shopping. Spa style bathroom with rain shower and double heads , central heat and air, hardwood floors, vaulted beamed ceilings, hot tub, breakfast kitchenette and private rooftop patio.

Head Water House Suite

The Head Water House is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, just shy of Old Town Eureka (10 minutes). This place is truly unique with it's "one of kind" natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, dark starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. You'll see and hear many species of birds, deer, fox, and maybe even a Barred Owl at dusk.

Includes bedroom (king) with french doors, living room with pullout couch, a covered deck, and cooking area (see notes). Unwind when you arrive with a good book from our library and relax on the deck overlooking the many rolling hills of our breathtaking and wild neighborhood. :)

Fairfax Getaway in the Redwoods

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.
