Enjoy beautiful sunsets and morning coffee from the deck of yurt, a stroll around the pasture, mountain streams, a hike on Buffalo Mtn or one of many Trails along the Pkwy, The Friday Night Jamboree, and all the wonderful experiences that the countryside and Floyd have to offer! And, Fido will enjoy the fenced area attached to the deck!

Windsong, nestled in the tree tops in the Blue Ridge Mountains, more of a treehouse than yurt! This yurt has internet, an upper deck w/ a hot tub and a lower deck with a gas firepit. There is an outside firepit with fire wood, and the yurt is comfortable year round with a minisplit, propane fireplace and a generator. Enjoy the soaking tub in the bathroom and the walk in tiled shower. A hammock hangs beneath the yurt, and there are two other yurts at different elevations for privacy.

It is an easy ride to the campus of Virginia Tech. The Kairos property sits adjacent to the beautiful New River, where we can make arrangements for you to experience the river.

Get away from it all! The Blue Ridge Parkway & I-77 are 8 miles , hwy 221 is 2 miles. Pet friendly. Soak in the huge soaking tub,listen to the creek thru the window. This stocked creek is noisy and fun to wade, fish and float in. The yurt is on a gated property. The driveway is biker friendly, and in the blue ridge mountains. The area has lots of backroads with accessible places to go on atvs. We do provide a side by side for an additional fee.
