I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Escape to this peaceful creekside cabin and settle into the slower rhythm of the mountains. Tucked beside a gently flowing creek, this cozy retreat is designed for mornings with coffee on the deck, afternoons spent unwinding outdoors, and evenings gathered around the fire beneath the stars. Listen to the sound of the water from the wraparound deck, relax in the private barrel sauna, or simply curl up with a good book while summer rain dances across the metal roof overhead.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Hokie Homestead Highly accessible to VT and I-81

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful country cabin situated on our six-and-a-half acre partial homestead on a quiet lane. Meet our mini donkeys Hokie and Pokie, mini pigs, and other animal friends. Enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens and seasonal vegetables as available! This getaway is a perfect home base for Virginia Tech games and events, nearby vineyards, breweries, the Appalachian Trail, and the New River. Mountain and horse-ranch views.

Modern Cabin w/ Hot Tub - Romantic Retreat

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.
