Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Rest and refuel at our peaceful & modern retreat. The perfect end to a day of adventure in the beautiful Kiewa Valley. Whether your appetite is for skiing, riding, golfing, fishing, kayaking, bushwalking or simply relaxing and taking in the beauty of the valley you will have a tranquil base at the Days End. Conveniently located a short stroll from town you will find a supermarket, cafes, pool and pubs. Just 30 minutes drive to Falls Creek, next door to Big Hill Bike Park and close to the river.

The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

This unique and tranquil experience, Your very own mud brick miners cottage on a lavender farm that has fantastic views. 5km to Bright. Also near by is the Rail trail, Golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. With an adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda.Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream also on the property. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.
