The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Yallumbee Beach Studio is a beautiful, spacious retreat just 5 minutes walk to Balnarring Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. The studio is a newly renovated space, detached from the main property, that gives your own space to call home with the added benefits of a sunny deck, pool access and a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ area. A private retreat only 10 to 15 minutes away from the heart of the Mornington Peninsula’s wine region, Yallumbee Beach Studio is the perfect space to unwind and relax.

The Barn at Summersdale Located in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula, this exquisitely finished barn conversion is the perfect couples' retreat. Just a 3-4 min drive to Balnarring and Merricks beaches plus wonderful Peninsula vineyards, the Barn is the ideal location from which to explore. Quirky two bedroom Nissan Hut conversion set amongst the tee trees and driftwood, just a 2 minute walk along a sandy track to Balnarring Beach. Wood fire heater, reverse cycle air conditioning, outdoor deck and BBQ, indoor/outdoor shower, towels and linen provided. NO Wifi encourages guests to get outdoors and explore the surrounding area.
