Majestic sunsets over the South Puget Sound await you at our 70's themed A-frame house, which sits on the edge of a peaceful saltwater cove, where kingfishers, herons, and river otters play. Our house is in a small rural community on the southwest coast of the Key Peninsula, 90 minutes from Seattle, and 45 minutes from Tacoma. We have everything you need for a relaxing get-away: a well-equipped kitchen, books and board games, turntable and records, and a smart TV. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Great 180 degree Views from south end of Vashon Island. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance. Tacoma city and Commencement Bay lights up views at night while Pt. Defiance is dark. This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Sunset Lagoon Retreat is located on a private island in the Puget Sound of Washington. Enjoy your own private beach, paddle boat, kayaks, row boat, seafood filled lagoon, & spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains all framed in a different Sunset every evening. Outdoor activities to experience without leaving your retreat. How about fresh oysters, mussels or clams for dinner from your own seafood farm? Your journey to serenity is a lovely 5-to-8-minute walk down a historic hillside to the secluded community of Sunrise Beach. Walking down the private driveway you may see a family of deer on your left when you pass the Historical Marker. As you walk past the houses and cabins on the waterfront, you might be reminded of Silverstein’s charming “Where the Sidewalk Ends.” The reward for your journey will be the treasure waiting for you at “the prettiest cottage on the beach.”

Your vacation rental, Marea, sits right at the water's edge on low bank waterfront with unobstructed views. There's a permitted Deep-water floating dock (if you would like to arrive by boat). RV parking is also available. The beach is littered with oysters & clams. The expansive deck is ideal for entertaining or enjoying the views from the hot tub. Enjoy kayaking and bird watching while roasting smores around the firepit. 3 kayaks are available. No Pets please.

Get away for a weekend or longer and enjoy this peaceful retreat with its stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the South Sound islands. The historic house has plenty of room to spread out and, comfortable spaces to gather together. Launch your kayaks (provided) from the private beach or dock, then paddle around and explore Filucy Bay. For fine dining (or just great, casual food), visit nearby Gig Harbor or stay and cook in the well-equipped kitchen.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each.
