The cottage is completely separate from the main house on a half-acre block in Karana Downs 28 kms to Brisbane CBD or 12 kms to Ipswich CBD. It is fully self-contained, modern, airy, quiet and peaceful. It has a full kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge area and one double bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with safety railings. The cottage has two split system air conditioners and two ceiling fans. It has a large private covered verandah on 2 sides and undercover parking for one car.

It has been brought back to life and tastefully renovated in keeping with the original design. This house is set up for a great get away, fishing, paddle boarding or kayaking holiday with the beach right out in front of the cottage. Access via a lock box will make your arrival easy. Our cottage accommodates 4 people. There is a comfortable lounge room, equipped with sofa bed and television and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a verandah to sit on at the table and chairs to take in the mountain air. The cottage has a bathroom and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette is complete with bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and tea and coffee facilities. All crockery and cutlery as well. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
