Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

We are nearing the end of a long renovation, so you will find some projects unfinished (mostly exterior). But, we hope that won't stop you from having a great time exploring the area. New floors, kitchen, lighting, and hot water heat pump - we've poured a lot of love and energy into making this a great spot for our family, and yours!

Edgewater Cabins

Edgewater is centrally located off of Route 1 (Schoodic Scenic By-way) in Sullivan Harbor. You can enjoy our beach and picnic tables on the wharf while surrounded by amazing views. You will find a tennis court just a short walk up our driveway. Nearby there are restaurants and dining, local hiking trails, and Acadia National Park. There are 2 other small cabins plus larger ones available that can accommodate families. In July and August there is a 7 night minimum stay from Sat. to Sat.

The Maine Getaway - Lakefront with Beach

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Artsy Tiny House & Cedar Sauna

Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

#6 is a spacious room with a fully stocked kitchen (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot), cooking supplies (dishes, silverware, pots, pans), a bedroom with a queen bed, folding twin in the bedroom closet, and living room with a futon. Other amenities: A/C (bedroom), full bathroom with shower, cable, TV, a small dining area, and free wifi. All guests have full access to common areas: Indoor kitchen in the main building, outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and bonfire pit.

The peaceful town that gracefully lies on the most east point of Maine. Your three minute stroll back to a peaceful in-town one-bedroom apartment, and enjoy a cup of coffee sitting on your own private deck or enjoying a quiet moment in a historic fishing village apartment. Take in all of the surrounding areas and adventurous things to do.

Escape to Sandy River Beach

Bella Vista is a cozy, 2 bedroom house with views of Englishman's Bay and Roque Island. The house is set just a few feet away from the soft white sand of Sandy River Beach. You will enjoy magnificent ocean views and comfy accommodations. Stroll the ½ mile sandy beach collecting sea glass and other treasures washed in by the waves. At low tide, hike across the sand bar to explore a nearby island.

Mary Adeline Cabin at Welch Farm

Drink your morning coffee as you walk the farm's picturesque blueberry fields and shoreline. At night, enjoy sitting around a cozy campfire toasting marshmallows. As you enjoy the scent of fir trees, salt air, and the unspoiled beauty of Downeast Maine, Relax. Spend several days with us exploring the farm or as a jumping off point to venture to other locations around Downeast Maine and Canada.

Your family will be close to Acadia National Park, but far enough away from the typical tourist attractions for a relaxing escape. Sleep comfortably after a day of hiking, sightseeing or enjoying the beautiful Maine woods. Eat at our local restaurants, tasting the best seafood caught fresh that morning. You will find everything you need for a comfortable vacation.

The Healing Shack - Escaping your Trappings

Experience an authentic trappers cabin in Maine built in the 1800’s with this unique and tranquil getaway. Private yet within 5 minutes walking distance to the ocean and 2 minute drive to a beautiful lake with boat access. Spacious area for outdoor activities, where children could pitch a tent while the adults enjoy the romantic comforts of a hand hewn cabin.
