Our spacious and secluded guest suite is in the perfect location to enjoy all that beautiful Charleston has to offer. Nestled in a quiet suburb, we’re less than a ten minute drive to the Battery and historic district of downtown, and a fifteen minute drive to Folly Beach. The suite was built in 2023, and includes a multitude of amenities for your perfect trip. With beautiful floor to ceiling windows, the view has sweeping oaks and mature magnolias, setting the scene for your Southern getaway.

Whether exploring our beautiful historic city (6mi north) or splashing in the ocean (7mi east), you can’t go wrong with a stay here on James Island, a charming barrier island of Charleston. We've prepared a private space in our pet and smoke-free home which includes one bedroom with a comfy queen bed, a full bath with shower/tub and a cozy TV lounge that offers a breakfast/work table and a coffee station with mini-fridge and microwave. You’ll find your rooms to be immaculately clean & fresh.

Private luxury studio- 10 mins downtown and Folly

Welcome to the ‘Suite Life’ ! Tucked in a charming and chill neighborhood on James Island with easy access to Folly Rd., this attached suite has a private entrance with a screened-in porch complete with a swing, rocking chairs and a fan…perfect for relaxing as you sip coffee or wine. The well-landscaped front yard offers tranquility for when you are not on the go. The 'Suite Life' is a Superhost, and fully licensed with the city/county, which adds a level of reassurance to our guests' stay.

King Bed, Soaking Tub and Outdoor Kitchen!

Centrally located between Folly Beach and Historic Downtown Charleston, this spacious master suite is perfect for a couple’s getaway! The spacious studio unit has a king-size bed, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower, walk-in closet, sitting area, 55” smart TV, and en-suite kitchenete. The real star is the private deck overlooking the oak tree compound, featuring a full outdoor kitchen, an entertainment area with hammock chairs, a 43” smart TV and outdoor shower at the bottom of the stairs.

Private Suite - Between Folly Beach & Downtown

Guest suite 5 miles from both Folly Beach and downtown Charleston. Maximum occupancy: 2 guests of any age (including infants and children). Living room, kitchenette, bedroom (queen Casper Hybrid mattress), full bath, large deck. No pets or smoking. 2 TVs with many streaming services included (no cable). Fully permitted and licensed by the City of Charleston for short-term rental (OP#06936). As required by City regulations, we live on the same property, with our home connected to the suite.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

The Cottage On James Island

A few miles from historic & scenic downtown Charleston and Folly Beach this is the ideal location for your next vacation! You will enjoy complete privacy with a separate entry. Bedroom consists of Queen bed, dresser, armoire and library. You will love the walk-in shower complete with ceiling-to-floor tile. Comfortable living room with a sofa, two chairs, TV (Firestick only), kitchenette with small dining table, refrigerator, microwave, and convection oven for your use. Wi-fi available.

Sunny Spot on Ocean View

This cozy guest house is located on Ocean View Road, which is a dead end. A quick down walk down the road and you will see Clark Sound and the Morris Island Lighthouse. The private driveway will easily accomodate your vehicle as well as a boat trailer should you decide to bring your own boat. Sunny Spot is 7 miles from Folly Beach and about 7 miles from downtown Charleston. It is also very close to John's Island where some excellent restaurants and breweries can be found.
