Discovery Ridge Cottage-Romantic Peaceful Getaway

Port Townsend, Washington Welcome to our Romantic Country Getaway nestled on a treed 10 acre parcel just 12-15 minutes from Port Townsend or Port Hadlock. It is located centrally to the areas' amenities, breweries, wineries, and cideries. Our Cottage has been designed to be a cozy, warm, romantic space with custom woodworking, wood counters, in-floor heating and special touches to make your stay enjoyable. We have a seasonal garden with herbs and apples amongst a lovely outdoor private patio.

Historic Discovery Bay Beach Cabin Stunning Views

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

Whidbey Boho Cottage+Hot Tub+Indoor Sauna+King Bed

The Boho Cottage is a private 1 bed & 1 bath home with water views & beachfront access surrounded by gardens. Soak in the private hot tub on the deck facing the water or relax in the indoor infrared dry sauna. King size bed, large walk-in shower, extra towels and luxe bathrobes. PNW boho vintage decor, cathedral ceilings and skylights create a cozy atmosphere perfect for a romantic island getaway. The cottage is on 1 acre waterfront property shared with the host’s separate home & workshop.

Set between Whidbey Island and Washington's mainland, beautiful Camano Island can be reached by car. With over 56 miles of beaches, boating, salmon fishing, clamming and crabbing are bountiful. The unique appeal of Camano Island is that it offers visitors a real-life island experience, including a strong arts scene. Recreational activities such as biking are popular here. The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.

Equipped tastefully and thoughtfully with custom built features. Come enjoy the spirit and vibes quaint island living has to offer.

This is a getaway for those who wish to reset and relax while enjoying all that Whidbey Island has to offer. Sip on a local coffee while gazing at 180 degree views of Useless Bay, Mt. Rainier, and quaint farms. Walk to Deer Lagoon to observe the over 170 species of birds taking up residence.

Explore the Olympic Peninsula while staying in our bijoux tiny house nestled in the lush rain forest at Millie's Gulch. Sip your coffee (or wine!) listening to chattering birds and frogs. Grill a steak on the BBQ, light a fire in the pit and watch the stars peak out from behind the forest canopy. Read, relax, drive around to the local port towns or just do nothing - that's how we planned it. Small pets welcome - but please check with us before booking.

Our modern cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, but large enough for 4 guests. The cabin sits high above a stunning, sandy beach - just a short walk or drive away. Quiet and private, with unobstructed views, the cabin is a true retreat!
