Moonrise was inspired by the movies of Wes Anderson. You will find it down a private country road in a garden filled with many birds who visit from the bush and nearby wetlands. At night the sky is full of stars. We have carefully crafted the cabins to provide a quirky off grid life and a tranquil experience where you can recharge in nature, read or play boardgames. The beach, along with shops and cafes are a 7 minute drive away and bush walks are just up the road.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

We bring you the best of both worlds with great sea views set on 3 acres of beautiful native bush just minutes from Waipu Cove. This Modern Bach has a full kitchen, lounge, cinema/games room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Just a stone's throw from the glorious, white sandy, Ding Bay at the northern end of Langs Beach. Safe swimming, rock pools and endless beach activities. Unobstructed views out to the Hen and Chicken Islands and Sail Rock. Enjoy the stunningly beautiful coastal walk from Waipu Cove to Ding Bay, an absolute must. 2km from Waipu Cove, 12km from Waipu, 15km from Mangawhai township. Relax on the Kaipara Harbour

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
