This self contained West End Hideout is part of a converted lower level Family Townhouse located in the heart of Glasgow's famous West End with it's own secure access and is only a stone's throw away from Botanic Gardens.THE LOCAL AREA has a good mix of small independent shops and quality high street names. It is a foodies' haven with two specialist cheese shops, butchers,whole-food shops, numerous delicatessens and stores such as Waitrose and Marks & Spencer are all within a very short walking distance. There are also wonderfully atmospheric second hand book shops, vintage and retro clothing stores, gift shops, jewellers and of course plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars.There are a wide range of places to eat from great value budget to widely acclaimed, well established restaurants. Five of Trip Advisor’s top ten restaurants in Glasgow are all within a 15 minute walk. Nearby Ashton Lane is great for visiting during the day and evening for shopping, coffee, eating, drinking and catching a film at the local Grosvenor Cinema. This is our stylish, tranquil and centrally located flat in the heart of the west end of Glasgow. Our attic flat has a capacity for 2 adults, but is also perfect for a small family of 2 adults & an infant. Our blonde sandstone, category A listed townhouse is around 175 years old. There are about 74 steps up to the flat door (which includes a quirky 24 step spiral narrow-ish stair at the end) and as expected with a such a heritage property, there also is not a lift.
