With miles of trails, the Bluff is a perfect place for botany or photography or plain old serenity. Note: there’s no TV, children must be supervised at all times and alcohol/tobacco/etc are not allowed on the property.

Scott School Cottage Stay at Scott School

Scott School was a Campbell County one-room school from 1905 to 1928. In 2010, Scott School was renovated and serves as a lovely tea room and quiet location for guests. The cottage is complete with two bedrooms (one twin, one full), central HVAC, full kitchen, and televisions. Points of interest nearby are: Red Hill-last home and burial place of Patrick Henry (5 miles), University of Lynchburg (30 miles), Liberty University (25 miles), Randolph College (30 miles), and Appomattox (22 miles).

The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.
