Primary bedroom faces pond; 2nd bedroom is creekside. Generator in case of power outage. Outdoors include: propane firepit & grill, picnic tables, games, seating by the water. This special get away is close to stores&Poconos seasonal activities; tucked away for your relaxation&enjoyment.

Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Linens are included with this cabin (bedding, pillows, towels, wash clothes, soaps, shampoo, etc.)

Creekside Cabin - Creek, Pond & Indoor Fireplace

Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

This location is remote yet within a 5 minute drive to the D&L Trail, 10-15 minutes to Jim Thorpe, Beltzville, Mauch Chunk Lake, Hickory Run State Park, and a 20-30 minute drive to 3 ski resorts. There is self check in at the front door/porch area where you will unload your belongings and enter, and also at the garage area where your vehicle will be parked at all other times. The keypad locks at both entry doors will be coded with a number that is unique to you and easy to remember.

Located at the top of the mountain, and only minutes from the center of town, our 2 Bed / 2 Bath carriage house suite offers comfort, privacy and convenient access to everything Jim Thorpe has to offer. While it is not an actual tree house, it is a carriage house surrounded by trees on most sides. The name "Tree House" comes from former guests who named this space, and for that we are forever grateful <3
