Situated in open forest makes Acorn Cottage a perfect retreat for those looking to enjoy the rural setting the National Park has to offer. A short walk to The Oak Inn, great for lunch or dinner with Lyndhurst a mile away for all local ammenities. As ideal for couples as for families with kids. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths upstairs offers the space, with the cosy ground floor rooms being full of character. This charming 3-bed cottage with private parking and garden is situated in Shawford, near to the historic town of Winchester. Walks along the River Itchen, swimming, fishing and picnic spots are on your doorstep. Local pub in Shawford and pubs in nearby village of Twyford. Winchester is also accessible by foot ( 45 mins) or a short 5 minute train or bus away. London is an hour by train and other local attractions include Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World, South Coast, Portsmouth and New Forest.

The cottage is located within 800m from the Village centre and 200m from the open forest,it offers the ideal “home from home” vacation.The cottage has a number of timeless features to allow you to feel at home , and relax. We have equipped the cottage with all the modern appliances you will need for a luxurious holiday. Our cottage has a large rear garden with comfortable seating area. Free on road parking is available.

A 10 minute drive to Peppa Pig World & Paultons Park and 20 minutes to the New Forest and 35 minutes to the coast. Close to Train and Bus stations for visits to attractions further afield.

Built in 1840 to house workers making bricks this charming extended semi-detached cottage has been lived by the same family of New Forest commoners for the last 50 years. Recently tastefully refurbished to a high standard, STRIDE Cottage is a much loved comfortable family home which maintains the character of the traditional New Forest cottage whilst offering spacious, modernised, comfortable living. Our delightful cottage provides the best of old world charm and modern convenience. It is a pretty 17th Century thatched cottage in a small village, furnished to a high standard with a lovely mature garden. We have a well equipped kitchen and cater for young children with 2 high chairs, travel cots & toys. Located in the New Forest National Park and not far to the coast, Paultons Park & other attractions. My place is good for couples, families with children and small groups.

Colindale Cottage, Nether Wallop

Located between the historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury ,Colindale Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Test Valley and beyond. Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the New Forest are close by. The coast is approx and hour away. Dogs are welcome. Nether Wallop is a pretty village in the heart of the Test Valley close to the small town of Stockbridge with its independent shops and eateries. Nether Wallop featured in the Miss Marple series starring Joan Hickson.

Cottage in Ower

Our cottage is just inside the New Forest national park in a quiet, rural location easy to access from the M27 or the A36, and a 10-minute stroll to Paultons Park. Private parking and a spacious garden. There are many places to visit locally and some lovely walks nearby in the New Forest. The easy access to main roads means Southampton is only 20 minutes away, Winchester 25 minutes, Salisbury 25 minutes and the sandy beaches of Bournemouth only a 30-minute drive.

Adventure Prospect - Historic Waterfront Cottage

Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines.
