Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Cosy Cottage Midway between East & West Coast

Cosy comfortable self-catering traditional Irish cottage in Kinnitty village at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains midway between Dublin and Galway. Tastefully decorated, the cottage is set in it's own private grounds on a quiet country road. 3 bedrooms free WIFI, & a large garden. For the outdoor enthusiasts the cottage is beside a variety of Slieve Bloom Mountains looped walking trails, and the Slieve Bloom Mountain Biking trails which start in the village, Lough Boora Parklands.

The Courtyard can sleep two in one room with a double bed.However more rooms are available from time to time in the main house. The kitchen has a hob, oven,microwave and cooking utensils and cook ware to use if required.

It is located on a farm and ideal for a relaxing break.it is just a few minutes walk to the beautiful woodlands of Emo where one can enjoy many different walking routes.
