Located in a 70 acre private eco- centre between Lake St. Francis National Wildlife Reserve and the St. Lawrence, the cottage is a place of beauty and tranquility. Ideal for birdwatching or canoe/kayaking. The wildlife reserve is 10 minutes on foot. The surrounging region is a haven for cyclists due to limited car traffic on the local roads. The interior of the cottate is finished in Pine. The Deck has a 270 degree view of the St. Lawrenvce. Canoe, kayak or paddleboard available on request.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful country paradise! Enjoy all the seasons here with the main snowmobile/ATV trail right at the end of the driveway. Go for a hike, or horseback ride through the Brasher State Forest trails. Or maybe a fishing/hunting trip, as there are 30k acres of beautiful public land surrounding the river front property and a variety of fish in the river (musky,walleye,bass!) A quiet dead end road, that turns into a a trailway that can take you as far as Old Forge!

Riverside Cottage

Our fully equipped seasonal cottage is on the Salmon river 15 minutes north of Malone and close to the Canadian border. We can provide info on visiting Montreal as well as the Wilder Homestead, fishing and hiking trails. We have an appetizer or home made soup waiting for guests on their arrival. We have bees and are pleased to show how we are nurturing our hive. Our gardens are beautiful and guests are welcome on both properties. As Super Hosts we do our best to make your stay memorable🌻

This cozy 2 bedroom cottage is situated directly on the St Lawrence Seaway. Enjoy stunning views of endless ships passing by. Fantastic swimming with direct, private water access. World class fishing is right in your backyard. Sit and enjoy the views in a 10 by 25 foot screened in porch or on the 1400 square foot patio that leads to a 6 by 20 foot pile driven dock. Walking distance to 2 local restaurants-The Blue Anchor waterfront bar & grill-Sheep’s Head Bistro and a beautiful public park.

L’Orignal River Cottage

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. Enjoy the comforts of home as this property was used as a full time residence for many years. Now it is our family cottage. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, main floor living room and basement living room (walkout) with gas fireplace. A dock is available for use June to end of August depending on water levels for when we can install and remove the dock. Please note there is a downhill slope to the river.
