With an abundance of cosy character features and modern facilities, our cottage is the perfect base. Our family own the adjoining property No.62 which can be booked alongside our place to accomodate a larger group.

Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

The location is perfect for walking , cycling, running, open water swimming etc... or for those who like to take things a little easier it is perfect for day trips into the lakes and toward the lesser know scenic west coast .
