This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

Very private self contained cabin with fully equipped kitchen, full sized fridge, stainless steel gas oven and burners, beautiful private outdoor bathroom complete with claw foot bath and state of the art composting toilet is overlooking the rainforest. Solar power and hot water (gas booster for overcast periods) and a great pot belly stove for the cooler periods. Views to Sphinx Rock from the beautiful big verandah. Drive only 10 mins to the Border Ranges National Park and 20 mins to Nimbin.

FernyBrook Cottage is located right next to Purling Brook Falls and the walking trails and magnificent views of Springbrook World Heritage National Park. It is a quaint and cosy, timber-lined, mountain chalet-style cottage, set amongst peaceful rain-forest gardens, with its beautiful babbling brook providing a haven for bird life and nature study. The Cottage is fully self contained, has a cosy wood fire (wood supplied), reverse cycle air conditioning and a comfy queens-sized bed upstairs.

This unique nature-focused abode, has a relaxed feel, close to Byron town (only 13kms) but far enough away, for a change of pace & a breather in an abundance of beautiful nature. It includes a large deep bath, big enough for 2 (under cover) on a deck with a beautiful nature view & a relaxing semi-outdoor living area with the van used as the bedroom with A/C. Enjoy the solitude the hinterlands offers, with wide open fresh air without seeing anyone but the kangaroos, koalas & birds.
