Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

5 minutes from Phoenicia. A comfy Yurt for 2 amid wild elderberry, peach, pear and apple trees, a goldfish pond and forested hills. A secret meadow for sun worshiping, meditation and watching dark milky way skies. Cold, UV purified spring water. Skiers welcome: Cozy heat in the Yurt down to zero! Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Tucked away in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the waterfront Salmon River Wilderness Camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. Rejuvenate with a swim, go paddling in a canoe at your doorstep, and hike in the rolling landscape of forests, granite and clean water. Centrally located between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, we're also near Puzzle Lake Provincial Park and the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area.

When staying at our unique resort you will not only experience and see many different types of rentals like treehouses, yurts, earth homes, and cabins but you can explore our wildflower fields, play with our goats and chickens, and observe our honeybee hives. While the seasons and nature provide, take home some honey from our hives, eggs from our coops and fresh maple syrup from ours and other local farms.

The COMPOSTING TOILET is a environmentally friendly unit. The loft accessed by a NARROW SPIRAL STAIRCASE w/ queen sized bed.

Welcome to The Walnut Grove Yurt! Our original yurt at Finger Lakes Cider House. This handcrafted yurt is an all-season, round, wooden cabin nestled creek -side in our walnut grove. Every detail is custom built by our Cider House crew. This little hobbit house sits on our 70 acre property: organic regenerative pasture, forest, strawberry patches, and apple orchards— shared with our grass-fed flocks and herds of turkey, chicken, pigs, sheep, and white angus.
