Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

The only vacation rental with a private trail that begins on the property and connects directly into Table Rock State Park. Step outside the front door and hike straight into waterfalls, mountain streams, Lake Pinnacle, and miles of scenic trails.
