Cosy Stone Coach House near Glasgow

The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

Small cottage in town centre

The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.

The Wee Glasshouse

The Wee Glasshouse is a modern, studio apartment in the picturesque coastal location of Dalgety Bay. It’s designed to enjoy breathtaking views of the bridges and is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with its many beaches and woodlands. The Wee Glasshouse has features similar to our own house which was filmed for More 4’s ‘Building The Dream’. TV Presenter Charlie Luxton visited several times to record its progress and was aired in Jan 2017. In 2020 it featured in Scotland’s Home of the Year.

Cosy Private Studio in Glasgow Southside

A cosy, independent studio in the south side of Glasgow, set within the grounds of a Victorian villa. The studio is a separate outbuilding, giving guests their own private space with a private bathroom and kitchenette. The location is convenient for exploring Glasgow, with nearby train station and motorways. The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. There is no TV in the studio. Please note that there is no hob or cooking equipment such as pots and pans.

With the abundance of wildlife (jumping fish, sunbathing seals & daily visits of a local resident goose) you won't find it dull. Great base to explore Scotland, 45 minute drive from Glasgow Airport, located within the "Loch Lomond and The Trossachs" National Park in Argyll & Bute.

The Studio at Shoreland

A peaceful studio in North Queensferry with magnificent views onto the UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge. Only a short steep walk uphill to the train station to Edinburgh and ON the Fife Coastal walking path. Nestled between the three Forth bridges you have the option of train, car or walking across to South Queensferry. Deep Sea World, The Wee Restaurant fine dining, Rankin's Cafe and the small Lighthouse Museum only a short walk away and there is a small shop near the station.

Cosy countryside retreat with easy access to Edinburgh centre. Newly built. Log burning stove, super insulated, south facing with views to the fields Great local walks straight from the doorstep. We're at the foot of the Pentland Hills. 5 minutes walk to bus stop for Edinburgh (30 - 40 min ride). Or a 25 minute drive. 15 - 20 min drive to Edinburgh airport. Darroch Garden Room #2 hot tub in Luss Loch Lomond

It is in a quiet, rural location, but still close to the M74 so a perfect stop en-route to northern Scotland or southwards to the border and England. It has an AGA, central heating, king-size beds with electric blankets, private parking, full cooking facilities and utilities, as well as it's own 'private use' garden facilities with views over sheep farms and the Moffat Hills.
