Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to Picton and Waikawa Bay yet far enough away to feel you are a long way from both. Perfect environment for peace and quiet, but also perfect central spot to explore Marlborough. Ample space for children and animals to play. Plenty of parking space, including a boat. Up a private right of way, set in native bush, this modernised cottage offers views of Waikawa Bay. Wake up to birdsong. Watch the tui flitting between the trees and maybe a weka crossing the lawn. Gaze at native bush and hills or watch the boats in the Bay. A wonderful place to chill out in the last of sun. Walking distance to bike tracks, the beach & marina/pub. Marlborough Sounds Haven

Our house has a unique location, one of three family baches set in native bush with the sea at the front. It sits at the entry to the Queen Charlotte Walkway, with road access to the back door. It is away from the crowds, but a short walk to the beach and the Outward Bound jetty. It is still in original condition, built 70 years ago, so don't expect a modern house. It has everything you need, however - dish washer, washing machine, wood burner, comfortable beds, and an unparalleled view.

Blenheim town is 10 minutes drive, Picton ferry terminal is 20 minutes away, wineries just down the road and the Blenheim airport is 10 minutes away. Separate from the main house our private guest house is self contained and fully equipped, perfect for a couple or business person.
