We are located just three minutes from Sweet Briar College, 20 minutes from Liberty University, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to restaurants and downtown Amherst. This cozy and charming cabin was originally built as a country store in 1930 and has been updated with all the modern comforts. NEW in 2025- bathroom fully renovated with walk-in tiled shower! The cabin has a front porch perfect for sunset, back deck with gas grill, full kitchen, king bed, queen sofa bed, mountain views, and ten acres to explore. Come unplug and get away from it all! Tucked away on the “quiet” side of the famous route 151, we are minutes from trails, breweries, and more!

This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

This cozy and comfortable home is located within the charming Town of Amherst in a quiet neighborhood very close to Sweet Briar College. It is only a short drive from Lynchburg yet is also convenient to other area attractions, such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Mt. Pleasant Scenic Area, Wintergreen Resort, and an assortment of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, including the Rt. 151 "Brew Ridge Trail."
