Situated in Loch Lomond National Park, Findlay Cottage is a perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy everything in this beautiful part of Scotland. We are situated on the John Muir way with plenty of walking and cycling routes. Findlay Cottage is the entirely separate annexe of our house with private entry, field and private parking. Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
