L'encantadora casa de convidats Alt Straninger es troba al centre històric de Český Krumlov, just a l'altre costat del carrer de l'Egon Schiele Art Centrum. L'edifici es va esmentar per primera vegada el 1370 i va ser reconstruït en estil barroc al voltant de 1660 pel seu propietari, Krumlov Councilor Straninger.
