Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Yläkerrassa makuuhuone Very nice view to river Ounas. Parking your car near cottage is possible. There are kitchen, living room, alcove, bathroom and sauna in downstairs of the cabin. Upstairs there is bedroom. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santa's village is about 50 kilometers so I recommend to rent a car. there is no public transportation

Riverside Dream Apartment

Welcome to enjoy your holiday in Rovaniemi and be our guest. Cozy 50m2 apartment of a familyhouse by a river: Kitchen, livingroom with sleeping loft, bathroom, balcony, underground sauna and jacuzzi (extra price), barbecue and parking place. There are four beds (one double and two singles) and if necessary baby's bed. Apartment is located in a peacefull familyhouse area and it takes 5 min drive and 20 min walk to city center. Supermarket is very close also (2 min drive and 10 min walk).

Eräelämys Lapissa! Täällä voit lämmittää ruokaa tulilla ja saunoa puusaunassa. Saunamökki rauhallisella paikalla, noin 25 kilometriä Rovaniemeltä. Sijaitsee toisen mökin pihapiirissä. Saunamökin kuistilta näkymä metsään päin. Vesijohtoa ei ole, vesiastiat ovat täytettynä tullessasi. Tilava sauna. Grillikota käytössäsi (noin 50 metriä mökistä). Kuivakäymälä, johon kulku katoksen kautta. Jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, kahvinkeitin ja mikro. Ei keittolevyä. Liinavaatteet/pyyhkeet sisältyy hintaan.

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

You can see Torne river and hear the rapids.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Talo on siisti, vuonna 2017 sisältä täysin remontoitu. Luonnonkauniilla paikalla Tornionjoen rantatörmällä. Kesäisin loistavat mahdollisuudet lohenkalastukseen. Syksyisin metsästys- ja marjastusmahdollisuudet. Talvisin ja keväisin loistavat mahdollisuudet moottorikelkkailuun, reitti kulkee vierestä. Reilun 20 min ajomatkan päässä on Ritavalkean hiihtokeskus.
