'Cwtyn' - a Cute Country Cottage

Cwtyn is a detached,stone built former swill house,used to prepare pig feed in the 19th century. It has been converted into a cosy self-catering cottage whilst retaining the original stone fireplace and slate hearth. It is now an open-plan space,compact and practical, with bathroom, kitchen, log burner,TV and Wi-Fi. Outdoors there is an enclosed space,slate patio,seating,fantastic views and private parking. Rural,peaceful and unique - a great base for exploring Snowdonia,Anglesey and Lleyn.

Based on the doorstep of Snowdonia National Park , sited on our 7 1/2 acre smallholding, Fron Cabin, being 2 bedrooms, bedroom one with a kingsize bed and bedroom with twin beds, complete with hot tub, is a great base for relaxing and exploring North Wales and meeting our alpacas. Only 15 mins from the nearest beach, with Portmadog, Criccieth and Pwllheli within easy reach. Just 5 miles from the historic town of Caernarfon and 30 mins to Bangor. Murmur y Coed translates simply to the murmur of trees and sits in a tranquil spot at the end of a private driveway, the closest property to the forest and beach. Llanddwyn Island and beach are one of Wales’ most popular and enchanting spots to visit. It's a lovely walk through the woods to Llanddwyn Beach, you may even see some of the famous red squirrels of Newborough Forest. We are dog friendly and have plenty of outdoor space along with direct access to the Wales Coastal Path.

This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.

Gwenlli Shepherds Hut

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Dorothea Cottage is an end-terrace, traditional slate property with a large terraced garden overlooking the stunning Nantlle Valley. Nantlle is located inside Eryri National Park with Snowdon Basecamp (Rhyd Ddu) being under 5 MILES away!! Awarded UNESCO World Heritage status for its dramatic slate landscapes, Nantlle is a must-see destination for walkers, cyclists, divers, sightseers, and outdoor adventurers. We are dog-friendly and welcome one medium-sized breed.

Welcome to Bryn Goleu. Set in 3 acres , it’s a romantic, quirky and cosy barn, set 700 feet up Bwlch Mawr mountain with stunning sea and mountain views. You have total privacy with no passing traffic. Peace & quiet, wildlife and wonderful walks all at your doorstep. Watch stunning sunsets over the bay and sunrises over Snowdon. The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome but please let us know and check the doggy rules with us.
