Built in 1868, Blacksmith’s Cottage combines the charm of a simple stone cottage with the ease of modern comforts. The polished hardwood floors, slate flagstones, solid timber ceilings and antique claw foot bath create a historical feel, while the wood fire, ducted heating and cooling, and modern appliances ensure your stay will be comfortable.
Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.
Beautiful views of Kangaroo Island and the ocean. The property is situated on the mainland on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula south of Adelaide. A great stopover only 10mins to the ferry that goes to Kangaroo Island or stay for a couple of days to unwind. Large self contained house set on 5 acres surrounded by farmland. Watch the sunset and native birds and animals from the balcony. Enjoy a game of billiards or just sit back and enjoy the views.
